I looked it up on Wikipedia once, IIRC it's a full third of the year. Which is yet another reason why it's obviously astroturfed. No way does a tiny minority of men with a fetish get 1/3 of the year dedicated to them without rich men with the same fetish buying their way into respectabilty.

I have a daughter that is in her teens and joins gaming groups meant for for women and girls that aren't aimed at 18+. She's gotten to be friends with some great individuals but, in the name of inclusivity, a lot of these groups let men in if they say they're women.
Nintendo Queens is open to all ages. My daughter joined that group this year and noticed an individual going by "Alexis Skye" that was very clearly a male claiming to be trans and a lesbian. He would post provocative selfies of himself and never talk about games. Then, suddenly, he stopped posting, all his posts were gone, and he wasn't in the group anymore.
My daughter learned from her friends this guy identified as a lesbian and was in the group for years. She learned Alexis was 40, got banned from his local Pizza Hut for sexually harassing a teenage employee, and constantly asked members what they'd do on dates with him. He whined about not having a girlfriend and would post in lesbian groups as well.
This man was very clearly dangerous and was protected by the admins/mods of Nintendo Queens just because he was a wolf in sheep's clothing by playing the "trans" card. My daughter says he was outed by a member for being a pervert, which is why he left, and the admins/mods won't let anyone question why they kept him in the group for so long. Her friends say Alexis is a member of a vast amount of female gaming groups but has gone silent for now.
It's horrifying this was allowed to happen because these women were afraid of being branded "transphobic". Please raise your daughters to not be afraid to speak up. Don't let them think men can get away with predatory behaviors just because they wear a dress.
I really believe this Alexis person will start preying on lesbians and female gamers again once he thinks people have forgotten about what he's done. I don't know if DMs are allowed here, but you're welcome to message me for a link with further proof about this person that I don't think would be allowed publicly.
As for your hunch "I know that I have seen this doofus on kiwifarms somewhere". Yes plenty of people have seen him because he is sorta famous.

I like transrespect.org because they share their findings in an variety of formats, including Excel documents. That means you can easily transpose the data and filter it.
There's 320 names on the list. If we box off Central and South America, that eliminates 235 names (100 of which were just in Brazil). If we then box off the Middle East, Africa and Asia that knocks off another 42 (lol). So that leaves us with 43 names in the "Global North", but then that's still including places like Armenia.
So going down the remaining list:
Belgium - 1 death. Liza Kistauri, a Georgian national, was found dead in an apartment in Antwerp, in a suspected homicide.
Canada - 2 deaths. Dani Cooper was shot dead by police after brandishing a knife at their mother with a knife in the middle of a psychotic episode because they thought she'd been replaced by an alien, and Sara Miller, who was 11 and had recently started going by they/them and the name Jayden, was murdered along with her mother outside her school by a maniac with a track record for random acts of violence.
Greece - 1 death. Cuban National Anna Ivankova was found stabbed to death in her apartment.
Italy - 3 deaths. Naomi was murdered by a john, Colombian national Marta Castaña was stabbed by a spree killer who also killed two other (cis) prostitutes he was targeting, an an unnamed Nigerian trans woman was found murdered in a prostitute pickup spot. (Also whoever compiled this was not good at translations, because they thought Marta had been stabbed by "a stiletto heel", when that's an Italian word for dagger).
Slovakia - 1 death. Non-binary Juraj Vankulic died when a /pol/tard shot up a Bratislava gay bar, along with a gay guy (I'm pretty sure the shooter didn't know Juraj was non binary and just thought he was another gay guy, but he didn't like LGBT in general).
Spain - 2 deaths. An unnamed trans woman was found dumped in the Bilbao estuary, having been suffocated, and Sandra was stabbed to death by her boyfriend.
United Kingdom - 1 death, Brianna Ghey. As I've observed before, there's rumours that one of the killers is also trans.
With me so far? That's 11 deaths in Western/Southern Europe and Canada. Then there's the USA with 31 deaths.
2 of them died in the Club Q shooting and Unique Banks died in what was apparently a genuine trans mass shooting I hadn't heard about. Tortugita was shot 53 times by police during the Stop Cop City protest (which Fedposter J did graffiti about while him and his anarchist mates were squatting the ruins of the Tranch). YOKO died in a hit and run, DéVonnie J’Rae Johnson got shot by a security guard after she attacked him with a fire extinguisher, Emma Borhanian (who's a Ziz cultist - long story) got in a confrontation with her landlord and then got shot by the landlord after her roommate stabbed the landlord in the back with a sword, Banko Brown got shot while shoplifting from Walgreens, there were a couple of murder suicides at the hands of abusive partners (including one trans man who was killed while 8 months pregnant), a few cases of "found in a hotel room/parking lot" which sounds like lot lizards, and then a whole load of shootings with no clear rationale but yknow America.
I'm not a heartless monster - there's some really sad stories on this list, abusive fathers or abusive boyfriends, people desperate (I don't agree with shooting a shoplifter) and there are hands down some cases of trans people being killed for being trans. But pretty much everyone else was not killed for being trans - mostly they seem to have died at the hands of johns, which isn't a surprise for anyone, or for other unrelated reasons, or it's not even clear they were murdered. The website tries to account for this

I was a friend of Juraj and your hunch is correct. Appearance-wise, you'd have thought he was just a flamboyant gay dude. He was 100% murdered for being gay, as he was standing or sitting outside the gay bar when the killer approached and opened fire. Some asshole archbishop speculated to the news that the victims could have been drug users, which was totally false and he had to issue an apology later. To be clear, Chynna "Banko" Brown had attacked the security guard (and gotten her ass kicked) and was threatening to stab the security guard and lunging at him when she was shot.
I've yet to see any evidence that the shooting had anything to do with them being trannies. There's not really much evidence that it didn't either (the shooter demanded money, but that's not definitive). Still, this is probably one of the only examples of mass violence against trannies that I can find. Are there any other examples of totally real Genocide where there are no real acts of mass violence against the targeted community? They keep on going on about the Ten Stages of Genocide and being on step 7 or 8, but the list leaves out acts of mass violence which seem pretty integral.
