I'm rather bemused as to her surprise about the mold. Unless you live in the desert, mold is a world wide pest in pretty much all forms of permanent artificial dwelling. Add to that the fact that La Casa was abandoned full of rubbish, did not receive any form of maintenance, and was badly made with cheap materials to begin with...
Ffs, what else did she expect?
Shit, when she first posted photos of the trailer, a lot of us commented on the wilted ceiling fan in the living room. It has to get super hot and humid for a fan to do that. And of course it will- it's Alabama, with no A/C for many years. And that's "right in your face" damage.
I am convinced that Polissa is mildly retarded. There's not looking closely at first glance, there's denial, and then there's being genuinely shocked that an abandoned, collapsing trailer in a humid region developed black mold.
I bet if someone did force her to get the cats spayed, she’d be upset about it. She likes when they have kittens, so that’s more important to her than her cats’ health and well being. Reproductive cancers? Overcrowding? Not enough money to feed all the animals? Dangerously high amounts of cat piss? Generations of inbreeding? No problem, as long as Pissa gets more furry little toys!
There's a series of tweets right around Cow Tip 1.0 where a bunch of cat ladies called her out on having so many cats. One particular concern was why didn't she spay Luna (mother of most of the cats) before she had two litters, or spay her while she was pregnant the first time. Polissa angrily stated that it was cruel to abort kittens because the mama would know something happened. So, yes. Pissa cares more about having cute cuddly kittens to coo at than the welfare of the cats she has, or controlling the population.
How the hell could she let this happen? I think it's worth noting that she posted a fair amount about the first litter but not about this one. Could be that it just happened, but her saying she doesn't know where they are raises some questions. Even she knows she's fucked up (not that she will take any responsibility).
I found absolutely nothing (public) about these kittens. Even Lurch's impending arrival was announced on TikTok. This was a complete curveball for me. An unsurprising one, but wasn't what I expected when I saw her plug her CashApp.
Most of the few non Lurch cats that I have seen recently have been filmed outside Mamaw's house. I presume she gave up on corralling them inside shortly after recapturing Pugsley.
Indeed. Obviously her reference to 'personal stuff' has to do with her marital issues, but interesting that she chooses Facebook to sperg about that rather than TikTok. I'd guess that she sees TikTok as a creative outlet (lol) where she is fostering an audience of people who care about her (and will donate money). She doesn't want to bog that down with too much personal shit because it hosts her """"professional""" social media content.
A couple months ago when Polissa rebranded as a "fun and disability talk" account, she silently decided to stop talking about her life on there because "the world needs positivity!" I think she's aware on some level that talking about the trailer conditions or the cats breeding is a bad idea. Polly must really be that desperate for money and attention if she's willing to endure the wrath of Jenn and co if they still follow her antics. I know Jenn was
really not happy to find out about Lurch.
Yeah, with Pissa, what she doesn't say is always more telling. She didn't mention Joh at all in needing a home. Maybe he's in the process of fucking off back down to Florida. His sister has been trying to talk him into it for the last year - every time they get into an argument.
Also, these are great! She's squeezing super hard to get those tears out. Lol!

I really hope that someone uses that first cap as a pfp.
Funny, we dumb farmers could easily see the problems with the trailer through stills and short video clips. Mould was a given. How was it she ‘cleaned’ before moving in and didn’t see any?
She didn't. The only thing Polly and Joh did before moving in was putting that oven Pissa got last Christmas inside.
As early as June, Polissa was scapegoating her family as
"convincing" Josh and her to move into the trailer. Forget that she had been gushing at the idea of that trailer to the point of wanting to move into it last Christmas. Nah, her family members are bitches for
making her live in squalor.
I'm laughing at the image of Josh sitting in the dark, mouldy trailer with 15 unspayed cats. Last I remember they don't even have a TV or iPad for entertainment. Wonder what his day-to-day looks like. Probably bleak.
Here's the funny thing: La Casa has electricity. They got a
TV and DVD player right after moving in, plus
Funko Pops and Beetlejuice DVDs. All while Joh complained about the plumbing and
his teeth rotting in his head. He may be shitting in trash bags outside, but hey! He got the Blink 182 Enema of the State Funko Pop set! Whoo baby!
To be fair, the time to fix the cats was when there were 8 or 9 fewer cats. I don't enjoy watching it, but I'll admit it is fascinating to actually get a look at how a giant out-of-control colony of hoarded inbred cats actually comes to exist in real time, and the kind of retardation and terminal, inexcusable laziness that is actually involved.
Given that most of the cats are the children of a single cat, Luna, just spaying Luna would've reduced a good bit of the hoard before it ever happened. Man, this feels like tracking the amount of people that have had sex with each other during a STD epidemic, or how many invasive species start with a couple pairs released in the wild. Just one human fucking up at spaying one cat, and BOOM.
I also agree on the morbid fascination at seeing a hoarded cat colony's population wavering and then jumping. I've seen the end product on Hoarders episodes countless times, but never the development of it in real time. It's like a trainwreck. You just can't stop looking.
