Alright Kiwis, I give a lot of presentations for work and I’m gonna sperg about this atrocity. Consider me triggered. What a dogshit “keynote” presentation.
1) I do not know how long her presentation was supposed to be, but this is too fucking long even for one lasting an hour. You should only spend about 2 minutes on average per slide, and I’m being generous here for counting 37 slides with actual content on them. Usually you want to spend a minute or two on the intro, and that atrocious “credentials” slide should have been her second or third, not towards the fucking middle. There isn’t really a logical, progressive narrative either, just a bunch of word salads strung together. She is so fucking dumb omg.
2) Others have also pointed out that there is too much text here and they are right. Too much text tells me the speaker is not confident about what they are saying and havent prepared enough to hit the takeaways from any given slide and then wrap it up at the end. Basically, it’s all bullshit and you’re just reading off of slide because you don’t actually know your material. Worse, it is boring as hell. No one wants to sit through that.
3) The layout is inconsistent and ugly. I could use crayons to create more attractive slides, especially the ones with the matrices she just pulled straight from Excel. I’m surprised she even knew how to use conditional formatting.
4) It’s all obviously bullshit. No sources, and the definitions are all made up by her. She’s neither an expert in psychology nor tech, and so lacks any credibilty when it comes to forming new ideas or theses. If this presentation was about changing a tire on a military vehicle maybe this would be alright.
In conclusion (which Jackie does not have) Jackie’s slides are too long for even a lengthy keynote address and, much like her, they are ugly and boring. She lacks any credibility in this field and shits in the street.
