They also overlook the existence of privateers. Under the Bruen decision, I should be able to own a fully armed battleship.
I mean, according to le enlightened redditors, it somehow makes more sense that you should be able to own a grapeshot-filled cannon that turns people into chunks of meat rather than a standard caliber handgun.

Though what really bugs me is the idea of modern NPCs that everyone in the past was stupid because they didn't carry smartphones around or be able to buy luxury cat beds off Amazon using a smart refrigerator. This isn't limited to leftists (see: ancient aliens people), but you see it a lot with them on constitutional topics. As if people 200 years ago, who were biologically indistinct from us in terms of brain structure and capacity, just couldn't imagine a firearm that took less time to load, carried more ammunition, was smaller, and could shoot more rapidly than what they had access to. No, clearly those stone age dummies thought that the world was technologically stagnant and the principles that they thoughtfully laid out after much debate wouldn't take into account basic mechanical improvement of the most elementary functions of firearms. We enlightened moderns just know better, after all.

They heavily overestimate how complicated most modern firearms are. The leap from muzzle loaders to revolvers and auto loaders had more to do with technological advances in ammunition than the actual engineering of firearms. Precision tooling was necessary for the advancement as well, but to say that an engineer in 1760 couldn't imagine a repeating firearm is just retarded. If they were about 150 years more advanced in chemistry and machining, George Washington would have had an M249 mounted to the front of his row boat.

They also don't get that the firearms at the time of the founding aren't even considered firearms today. Black powder firearms aren't legally recognized as guns so they skirt a shitload of laws that the "you should only own muskets" crowd demands. No background checks, direct to customer shipping, no sales record storage requirements, felons can own them, etc.

Random young man finds car in public covered in anime borderline porn (aka "itasha"), makes the mistake of 1) posting on Reddit at all, 2) posting his disgust with this display on Reddit, and 3) incorrectly believing that public porn that is merely borderline is illegal.

Redditors really love to talk about gaslighting but have a habit of gaslighting people they oppose into thinking they are the gross degenerate loser, even though it is clear the person who drives this car is not well-adjusted to society at all.

But no, hating this makes you maladjusted to reality.
Where was this bodily autonomy crowd when it came to the WuFlu shots?
Please guys, my bedroom is messy and I don't actually feel like cleaning it, could someone online please make me want to clean? Idk what to do I'm powerless help.

What do they mean this is their last resort? If the mental giants at Reddit can't trick them into doing basic chores they're just going to give up and resign themselves to living amongst a pile of refuse for the rest of their life?

I'll bet if their internet went out and they couldn't get on Reddit or social media for a day or two miraculously their ADHD would start to dissipate and they'd feel a lot more like picking up.
Don't forget these are the same people who want cheered on when they take a bath or make their bed.

As I’m sure most people in this sub know: APMEX is pretty overpriced in general terms. I will say that I have purchased from them before (big name in the industry and I figured it would be my safest bet) I found a decent deal on their rounds and sale on mercury dimes so decided to pull the trigger and pay with crypto. Well I sent my cryptocurrency payment via BitPay and everything confirmed on my end and confirmed on the blockchain. Then about a week later they message me and say my order has been cancelled (kind of convenient for them since my coin that I paid with decreased over 5% just the day before). I messaged their customer service and they seemed very nice and assured me that I would receive my refund in 3-5 days.. today is the 3rd day but also a holiday so I wasn’t expecting it yet… also today I got a troubling email that claims that since they never received the payment that I now will be charged a $50 fee for not fulfilling the order… well hold on a minute here so I DID send my payment and it DID confirm on my end, but since they apparently didn’t get it then it’s my fault? I never reached out or said anything about wanting to cancel. If anything APMEX is at fault for sending me the wrong payment invoice on BitPay (I paid my order through the APMEX app)
Can they force me to pay this $50? And could I be liable to have any sort of legal action or fine taken against me if I refuse to pay?
Wondering if anyone else has had a similar situation happen to them.
EDIT: sure seems to me that there is very little helpful suggestions here… I understand people are being very much against crypto, but having multiple large bullion dealers accepting cryptocurrency as a form of payment says a lot about it. Maybe do some REAL research about crypto and THEN make your decision on if you’d like to trade fake FIAT currency for something of value… I always have and always will be a big gold and silver guy, but I think there is also a place for Digital assets. Came here to see if anyone else had some same issues and not to hear about how “crypto is shit blah blah blah” I’ve had MULTIPLE transactions with other dealers and one other (successful) transaction with APMEX that were all completed with crypto.

You see a lot of this shit manifest in shitty modern "continuation reboots" of shit from the 2000s where the og characters are still around. There's almost always an episode dedicated to them "learning about the internet existing" as if it was some new alien fucking thing if it follows that trend, one of the more blatant offenders in recent memory was the clone high one. The show originally came out in 2003, the internet was very much a thing people used back then

The users of r/Boxoffice wondered why Moana did not become a big a hit as Frozen. Music and story aside, race/racism were brought up. Mind you, these comments weren't deleted despite possible culture war arguments.

What this narrative ignores is that Coco, a story focused around Mexicans, became a huge hit in China. The Aladdin remake made over one billion worldwide despite criticisms against the 1992 movie's depiction of Sandniggers and complaints that the role of Jasmine was given to an Anglo-Pajeet instead of Arab actress. It did big numbers in the U.K, South Korea and Japan.

And now, with Wish ending Disney's 100th anniversary as a likely box office bomb, Redditors have also used racism to explain its lower box office. Making the new Disney princess a blonde Aryan won't change the shitty movie.

Part of why Moana didn't make it to the 'pop cultural heights' as the other Disney films is pretty much because of how small of a group Pacific Islanders are.

At the most optimistic statistics, they only number just under 3 million people across the world. The vast majority of which are mixed mutts who probably aren't even aware of their Pacific Islander heritage and have long forgotten about (whatever remains of) their culture.

Even if I were to put myself in their shoes and live their lives for a day; I couldn't. These are people whose only goal in life is having popular business, their celebrity pawns and whatever garbage they shit out lines up with whatever identity they have this week. I miss it when it was only Sci-Fi fans who were heavily into Star Wars and Star Trek took it seriously and everyone from the Simpsons to your own mother ripped on them for that.

Can't screenshot the rant, but it's pretty funny especially how they excuse it with having a manic episode.
I find it interesting how they've made up an "philosophy" called carnism in order to help fulfill their savior complex, as well as an simplistic attempt to understand why we eat animals.
Veganism is hilariously fasinating.

"There is no inherent value behind [Bitcoin]"

As opposed to what? US dollar? Euro? Yen? Euro and Yen were never backed by anything, US Dollar is literally being sabotaged by the Federal Government (though, economists assure me that unlimited borrowing is very good for US dollar. On a completely unrelated note, in five weeks since unlimited borrowing started, the debt jumped by a trillion. Since then, it jumped by yet another trillion), and it hasn't been backed by anything since 1971.

All these paper currencies are so worthless, the governments around the world are holding secret talks (or it is just very coincidental) to let it all crash and burn, and just move back to Gold standard.

US Dollar could maybe have some worth being the world’s reserve currency, but more and more countries are moving away from US, and regardless that never stopped US financial crashes. To be fair, I've seen economists make the same mistake thinking that US dollar is somehow magically protected.

Regarding bitcoin and ponzi scheme? How is Bitcoin a ponzi scheme? Who is the dude on the top reaping benefits? Bitcoin does have ponzi schemes, but it is not in itself a ponzi scheme. Some shitcoins have been ones, like that one by Ice Poseidon

"bloodmouth" sounds like a black metal band name, or the stage name of its singer
it's perfectly in line with classic metal names like 'corpsegrinder' 'hellhammer' 'necrobutcher' etc.

Someone going Lee Harvey Oswald with a blunderbuss from 1700 would be hilarious. Just dress up like a pirate and they'll will think you're cosplaying until some politician or globohomo elitist gets sent to Davy Jones Locker.

... or we could just ask "what makes a musket?" and come up with the most autistic muzzle-loaded black powder flintlock... Except that it's made with 21st century standards for precision engineering, picatinny rails, a red dot sight, and perhaps a suppressor and backup iron sights zeroed to a hundred yards, and looks pretty much exactly the same as your stereotypical scary AR-15, just without a magazine well

Alternatively...

Homemade guns are legal in the US but I think electrical trigger systems are not.

I will say this much given my background: buying metals can be tricky. You want titanium, as in raw titanium? You're on a list. Doesn't matter what you pay with. That is a strategic material, you are on a list. The best thing you can do is "keep it simple stupid".

Really they care less that you built a titanium sex bot as that you aren't selling it to another country for scrap. The feds like knowing who has their rare materials and who they're selling them to.

Redditors are idiots and Bitcoin is a scam. Two things can be true.
