Ukrainian member of the Parlament and the Faction Leader of Zelensky’s political party confirms that Putin was wiling to peace Ukraine out for neutrality but that Boris Johnson (in addition to Western leaders) and Ukrainian Political leadership prevented this. Notabily, the second part is new, as both Ukrainian media and the Israeli PM (who was the mediator) asserted that Ukraine was willing to sign. Given the Time article, this was probably then a duel effort by Johnson and Zelensky. Further he admits that Ukrainian negotiation efforts weren’t genuine, they sent only people who weren’t authorized to negotiate.

The murder of Denis Kireev is one of the great mysteries of the war. He was a high-profile banker with many connections on both the Ukrainian and Russian sides. He supposedly somehow learned of and handed over the Russian war plan to the Ukrainian government. In particular the plans for the airborne attack on Kiev's Antonov Airport.
He was then treated as a hero by Zelensky and his government. He was brought into the negotiations with the Russians.
He was executed and his body dumped in the street. Almost all accounts of why he died come from unofficial sources in Ukraine.

- Its possible was an intelligence asset working both sides of the war. That one side or the other figured out that he was using them for his own personal gain and killed him.
- Its possible that the Russians killed him for having leaked the war plans.

The story given to the press in Ukraine was that he was shot while being arrested by the SBU. Certain low-level Ukrainian politicians put a story that he was investigation for treason. The government's official story was an annoucement of his death with little other information.

A comparable bomb would be a JDAM-ER 500LB bomb, which RUSI claims has a maximum range of 80km (49.7 Miles) with a filling weight of 89kg (196lbs) compared to the FAB's 100kg (220.4lbs). So if the stats are correct the FAB beats out the JDAM-ER in both range and explosive power (can't speak to accuracy, but an extra 24lbs of explosive probably negates that just a little bit)

What I would be interested to see is a FAB-250 with one or more small jet engines, like those seen on the Iranian Shahed-238 or 358 Missile, the proposed Powered JDAM model which utilizes a 500lb Mark 82 munition is said to have a range of 345.2 miles (555km) and would be cheaper than even the cheapest cruise missile (though probably more expensive than a Shahed-131/136)

Link to Forbes Article (I converted the Nautical mile listings into standard units) about the proposed Powered JDAM, it also discusses that if the warhead was replaced with a fuel tank, the range could be extended to 805.5 Miles (1296.3km) and thus serve as a decoy.
I have no doubt that either Russia, China or Iran could manufacture an engine like the one suggested for the PJDAM, the TDI-J85 which produces up to 200lbs of thrust

The fact that he holds such a high position of power yet still has that horrible horrible hairdo goes to show how deranged he is. Hair is such a low effort thing to get right and is generally considered a keystone of public image, if not basic body hygiene. If he still has such shit hair after being in power for so long, it's tantamount to visiting the queen while wearing streakmarked underwear that can be smelled from a distance.

The fact that he still continues to do so indicates a complete ignorance or stubbornness of the rules and expectations of his position. That's not the type of person who would care about properly handling classified information or making political decisions that are best for the citizens of his country. It's not even the type of person that maintains enough awareness to pretend to dot his i's and cross his t's

I'm pretty sure it's just his brand. Boris was raised in Somerset, Notting Hill, and Maida Vale, and his youth was spent studying the Greek and Latin classics, with leisure activities such as fox hunting. He attended Eton and Oxford. These are all signifiers of a very posh man. Boris, despite appearances, is very upper class, and in England that means something. Take my word for it, I've lived there, and have had to interact with his ilk. His shambolic appearance is just his political brand, something he puts on to make the plebs vote for him. If you actually look at his politics, he's as elitist as they come, even by the absurd standards of the English class system. Don't confuse Boris for Trump just because they both look ridiculous.

This is literally why I want Ukraine to get aid, so they lose more territory. Putin is too ready to make peace. There's a golden opportunity to be able to not only get Odessa and landlock Ukraine, but to free Hungary and through Hungary, Serbia. As a side note, can you imagine the party in Transnistria / Pridnestrovia if/when the Russians get Odessa oblast?
