It pulls me out of the video but I try to remember that for the most part the people making these videos didn't live thru a time period where VHS was the prime entertainment vehicle for home movies.
The vast majority of analog series are made by Zoomers born after 2000, Zoomers think VHS is scary because OLD when people in the 1980s were concerned with more pressing issues like Drugs, Crime, and Nuclear Winter.
Vintage Eight is pretty underrated when it comes to the Analog.
The middle one I wasn't aware of, since chinks gonna chink and there were already too many Asian-person-gets-killed-being-stupid videos on the former LiveLeak. But for stories #1 and #3, I definitely knew about them since they were covered by Horror Stories on Youtube several years back. The Gypsy the snake story makes me legit MATI since I knew lots of trashy families like that when I was younger -- where the crackhead parents kept lots of animals like snakes, lizards, and pitbulls unattended.
