A Comcast Employee Has Been Fucking with DSP's Internet for Months [November 28, 2023] - Oh it's true.. It's DAMN true!

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
So.. Phil wants us to believe that Comcast has a very real identity theft/fraud case on their hands, which apparently, is guaranteed to be an inside job by a Comcast employee. According to Phil, Comcast has known about this for an entire month, but they purposefully hid it from him, for some fucking reason. And instead of doing something.. literally anything about it, they've just been brushing this whole thing aside all month.

Sounds good to me, dude.

Yeah I can see someone fucking with him on his wifi from their car. Blocking and unblocking the websites just seems fishy, him not showing the log that supposedly shows a comcast tech's login to his router/modem seems fishy.

Remember he's using cable to modem to ethernet as his link. he could just turn the radio off on the router and solve every problem, why hasn't he done that?
Randomly blocking Youtube and Paypal during his streams is exactly the kind of trolling that would drive him insane live.

I am far behind, but I just wanted to point out that Dave has kinda fucked himself in the future when it comes to his internet access. He bought a coax modem/router combo himself (Saved 10-20 bucks on his bill per month, BTW), this is now marked as customer owned by Comcast. Their D-mark has changed. All they'll do is troubleshoot up until that modem. If this person has persistent access to his network somehow and can get into his new modem, Comcast will just tell him to get fucked as his modem/router is no longer Comcast equipment.

Assuming Dave actually did buy a modem and isn't just bullshitting all of this. Wouldn't be the first time Dave screwed himself though.

Any person not lying would at least make a police report so they have a record of it. Not phil though. Last time someone asked him why he never made a police report his response was, "They only care about human trafficking cases!".
Someone should explain to him that his homeowner's insurance covers this loss and then if he declines to pursue that free money I'll be suspicious.

It's funny when and how DSP is right. Detractors at large wouldn't cheer if he saved a drowning child, kungfu fought an army of aliens, and whatever dumb bullshit he can come up with because he's poisoned the ever loving fuck out of the well that he'd have to post up near definitive proof that he alone was the sole actor in these events. Boy who cried wolf syndrome like a motherfucker.

Those youtube/paypal lines are meaningless imo. The socket is already open during his stream, and they aren't even formatted with https, all 3 were http. They're just there to trigger him when he looks at his modem.

I've worked as a tech for a large ISP and have worked with Comcast reps/techs before, this entire story is pig shit. The tech that went out several weeks ago to reset the router probably showed Phil some "tips and tricks" and piggy probably got the big brained idea to spin up this story about those websites being blocked by an insider. Nice job blocking the http sites dumbass.
This makes the most sense to me why it is some fake bullshit. Would make DSP coming up with these "panda lee is hotter" shit so much funnier and renaming the accounts with her.

I mean powerleveling but the worst for my addiction was saying I was going to see a movie and bought weed with it instead so I cannot comprehend the levels of someone like DSP and what he would go through for people to give him money but it makes so much more sense that it's fake, gay and bluepilled cringecore.

Just all goes back to how convenient things have been for him to have such slow weeks of dogshit content and he needed something after the illness-pillcore-style got done to death *blows nose*
He sounds like an insane person.

Phil definitely did this himself. Someone smart enough to get access to his shit wouldn’t be dumb enough to block http instead of https
leaning towards fake as fuck myself and fat Kat is unplugging the modem (like during the interview) to make it look real.

but if that's it, DSP has become more demented than ever.
http isn't being used, it would block nothing. Maybe if it were 10-15-20 years ago, you know, the last time Dave had knowledge of PCs and how they worked, it would block the website.
pretty sure youtube.com isn't even the domain the stream upload is going through. Surely it's some other CDN domain, but I'm too lazy to check. But maybe the comcast tractor is just a stupid fuck and he's just remotely resetting Phil's shit for shits and giggles.

Very strange and suspicious that it's just happening now, when DSP is desperate for cash after prolonged sickness, considering usually his internet is excellent (<15ms latency).

Yes, very much seems like desperate acts of a addict trying to drum up support.

When something is blocked by comcast it also give a very specific message. Its not like the website fails to load like the page is down. DSP doesnt have the poker face to keep that hidden, the first time he visited paypal and it was blocked he would go "DUH HUH?! COMCAST IS BLHAKING THIS WEBSITE?!" then make a twitter post and spend 3 hours a day for the next 5 weeks bitching about it

He's more pissed that Comcast is treating him like any other customer than Mr Hacker Man paying his bills for him.

Someone said to go to Comcast and settle it, he brushed off that idea cause its just some line level worker getting min wage like "you or me".

Phil

you retard

who the fuck do you think is on the phone when you call or is responding to tw...wait this is the same idiot who got into an argument with a youtube twitter bot and thinks email blasts are special sponsorship offer specifically for him.

As someone who has insider knowledge of the industry, let me tell you what's going on and how to fix it.

There's a 10% chance that a detractor employee is doing it and a 90% chance that a troll is social engineering to have an employee do it.
Phil's account security is most likely dogshit and has a secret question on his account for verification like "what is the name of the street you grew up on" "favorite pets name" just easy shit that Phil would freely give. He gave out some of his Mac addresses today in those screenshots ffs.
All these modem remote access tools keep track of who's using them incase there is malicious use. What's likely happened is a troll is calling tech support pretending to be phil and asking them to block the site and create troll wifi names. Employee has to obey if they've properly validated.
Yeah this is fraud and illegal, but these isp fraud depts are swamped with cases and is likely at the bottom of the ticket barrel for commercial customers. It's something that will likely take weeks to investigate and resolve. Any action related to employees will be kept quiet to prevent legal issues.
The tech telling him this the first time mightve been bullshitting him on talking to a regional manager to make phil happy since they've got metrics to meet. If a manager was contacted, a few emails were sent and eventually nothing happened cause the manager has better things to do. Phil should've opened a fraud case.

If phil wants to fix this, he should go buy his own modem and router that's supported by Comcast network, that way Comcast can't remote into it.
A rogue employee or troll would still be able to randomly restart it, but that's what a fraud case would do. But then again, if that becomes an issue, Phil's account would be noted that tech support shouldn't reset the modem from call ins.
