I got ma'am-ed yesterday, and I'm honestly a little unhappy about it.

So, obviously, getting ma'am-ed, miss-ed, or lady-ed are part of the goal. I do not pass. well, or so I'm pretty sure. 90% of the time I get gendered male, but I'm usually only ever at work, and so I talk a lot, and I have no desire to voice train. I like my voice, but it's not particularly feminine. very obviously a "dudes" voice. I have the vocabulary, tonation, and speech pattern of Chicken Joe, from Surfs Up.

I don't work too hard on presentation. I don't wear makeup ever. my work jeans are men's pants, and often I wear men's pants simply cause I've gotten used to them. much less tucking effort required with the way they're cut. I wear a lot of men's shirts, or occasionally boys shirts, as they're cheaper and they fit, and I only wear them for work (I'm required to wear a polo). I have arm hair that I don't keep trimmed, it's not bushy, but it's long, for arm hair. I still have relatively strong/sharp male features, and my side profile really kills any femininity. the only thing I do regularly is shave, but I currently have visible stubble, like 4-5 days growth. I'm 5'4, which helps, but not as much as you'd think.

but I got ma'am-ed yesterday. I had a ball cap on, with a teeny little bun poking out (shoulder length hair). I was in my work uniform, with a long sleeve undershirt on that I had rolled up cause it wasn't cold anymore. I looked decidedly male. I was boymoding, didn't wanna get hate crimed in Walmart. but I got ma'am-ed.

and I'm frustrated because on the occasion that I put effort into the way I present, if I wear something that accentuates my breasts, if I tuck well and wear something that lifts my butt, if I wear my dainty little size 6 (women's) shoes, if I do my hair and wear a little makeup and make sure I'm clean shaven, I get sir-ed. almost every time. regardless of whether I've spoken or not, which is the biggest give away, I get sir-ed.

"Different but normal" is what I think theyre going for despite being completely abnormal because in their heads normal is a social construct and theyre gonna change it. When you sit down and start analysing what is 'male' and 'female' manners, they're often just heavily exaggerated physical traits. Many years ago, long before the troonpocalypse, I watched a documentary about an early teen who'd basically been born with a mess instead of a downstairs department, and the decision had been made to raise her as female. It was very disconcerting, because she was so... sexless, that my instincts were just gibbering at me incoherently. Looking back, I strongly suspect that the girl was a chromosomal male, and the female mannerisms and dress were just at odds with a bone structure and voice box that were in the early stages of male puberty.

I knew of them thanks to an exhibition match versus a team made on the spot of men, that seemed to not play soccer outside of a casual match, and if you try to find news about that event, you will only find love bombing for the poon team despite losing 8-1

It was a really unfair game that could be turned into a massacre, but it was obvious that after half time someone told the men to show mercy for the hecking valid doods.

There's also the fact that taking testosterone pretty much automatically bars them from competitions. It's a performance enhancer, estrogen isn't. An FtM athlete will perform worse than the men she would be competing against even if she does pack on the muscle, since she'll still be shorter and have a woman's build, while a troon athlete will outperform (if not all then at least most) women he'd be competing against even if he does let all his muscles atrophy before he starts training again, because he still has the height and build advantage. Transitioning to cheat in competitions is pretty much only going to work if you intend to compete against women, which FtMs wouldn't find "affirming".

The exception would be things like dressage, where women and men compete against each other anyway so it doesn't matter.

I only support cosmetic surgery being covered if it's for people who have been disfigured in an accident or assault or something.

There are multiple "trans health" services like Folx or Plume who will happily commit insurance fraud by writing a fake letter of recommendation for surgery so insurance will pay for it. Only $200 and a twenty-minute "consultation" and they'll give you whatever letter you want authorizing whatever surgery you want, all paid for by insurance. If you pay for insurance, you're funding these surgeries, whether you like it or not.

My understanding of the trans phenomenon is it's basically playing pretend.
Picture little kids on the playground. Kindergarten. Playing house, playing doctor, whatever. Those games are only fun when someone plays along with you to "bring the fantasy to life".

These people want to play pretend that they're the opposite sex, but whereas kids acknowledge it's fake these people want to completely suspend disbelief so they can immerse themselves in this fantasy completely for the rest of their lives. And unlike kids who only recruit their willing friends to play along these people expect and DEMAND that absolutely everyone in the world play along with their fantasy, and everything about the real world be altered to support their immersion.
That's why third bathrooms and separate teams aren't an option, because it breaks immersion. Immersion absolutely requires being in the girl's lockerroom with unconsenting 10 year olds to be psychologically convincing.

Of course reality itself always somehow breaks immersion, because barring magiclike sci-fi tech troons will always differ from women in ways that will inevitably become obvious as one goes about daily life. This would be another great point to make: If troons aren't physically different from women (and by extension pooners aren't physically different from men), then pooners should be able to effortlessly defeat hons in physical sports like this.
