The prevailing notion instilled in girls right now is that pregnancy is the worst thing that can happen. Many girls grow up liking children and wanting to be mothers, and the teen pregnancy shaming kills that natural urge.
I agree with all your points and they're well articulated, but to split hairs, while teen pregnancy shaming shouldn't exist neither should it be encouraged (not saying you are encouraging it, just in general).
people started digging into his early career and about 1 year ago uncovered audio of him essentially endorsing teenage pregnancy, for as long as they're married.
First, "endorsing" it is a stretch. Walsh said the problem isn't teen pregnancy per se, but that the pregnancies occur
out of wedlock, meaning teen pregnancy is a thing which does happen whether it should or not (and he doesn't seem opposed to it, though that's
not the same thing as an endorsement), and so therefore it is better for that to happen in the context on wedlock. That doesn't seem particularly objectionable, to acknowledge a phenomenon and then suggest an improvement (even if optimally teen pregnancy wouldn't occur).
What is most telling is that the libtards who pretend to be outraged by this insist on having contraception available to teens and get angry if you suggest to teach them abstinence, so they
DON'T have a problem with teens fucking, just with them being pregnant which is the natural result thereof, barring contraception.
I think teaching abstinence is best so I believe I have the best opinion on the matter, but Matt Walsh's is a close second, because the left has no problem with promoting hedonistic behavior to teens, while Walsh at least suggests something less objectionable.
People found it very hypocritical that Walsh would refer to LGBT ideology as grooming, while he himself literally supported child sex and marriage.
There's nothing hypocritical about it at all, because the premise is flawed, starting with a false equivalence. While I think neither should occur, between the two options teens are far better off marrying and being pregnant than indoctrinated into an insane, damaging sex cult where they will be drugged and mutilated, and lied to about the nature of reality, not to mention inherently denying God in the process.
Not too long ago The Daily Wire was selling Matt Walsh baby plushies as well, which were marketed as a toy "for your kids to play with".
It's an odd, offputting toy but clearly a reach for something to criticize. You bold that like it's some kind of gotcha. Nobody's saying it isn't stupid, but you're acting like you struck gold and he's ruined lmao
Either way, there is a good reason why Walsh earned a lolcow status among certain people that started to meme him and I'm all down for the ride.
So all it takes to attain "lolcow status" is to release strange toy? This is "good reason", and not just blatant political bullshit? Ok
