Three strong economic countries so close together, with the realization they can't do anything because of American military, would have been far more beneficial to the world than what we have now. The japanese bubble would have been better remedied, Korea's late 90's collapse would have been avoided, and Taiwan would actually be in a strong place to ward off a dumbed down, saber rattling Chyna. It would have also likely sped up the growth we've seen in Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia.

What growth lol. The 1997 recession permanently put all the West-aligned Asian tigers to bed for a solid two decades, and still is, if you look at the rate of growth these days. I think Newsom pushed too hard and came off looking like a bully (which would be fine if he wasn’t a Democrat who needs to appeal to those sensibilities). Surprisingly DeSantis held up better than he does in the GOP debates. He’s definitely better against Democrats than fellow Republicans.

My running theory was that this debate was going to be to elevate Newsom for 2028, the uniparty taking 2024 as shit and salvaging their asset of DeSantis by having him be used as a strawman. Newsom, like a lot of WEF's younger leadership, has this uncanny replicant quality to him where he seems like he should be a good politician, but just fails the Voight-Kamp test when actually examined. Remember that he survived his recall election when the DNC had to stump for him en masse. That sort of election shouldn't have happen to him in the first place. It happened because even Californians were becoming unhappy with the hypocrisy in the lockdown government.

I think your theory is right in that he's supposed to be the future of the uniparty, but just like Kamala, he doesn't actually work in practice. They're groomed for leadership positions, but have no real vision, instincts, or even passion.

A good portion of that has to do with his own beliefs and stances but realistically also opposition and the people he appointed to key positions during his term as President.

He's still a good battering ram against the establishment and a better choice then the alternative though.

I've said this a million times, love him or hate him, Trump is your ONLY option. If he fails, nobody else has the fuck you charisma, national visibility and reputation and pure ability to have shit just slide than him and at that point you better start considering very different alternatives than voting republican. Trump managing to get back and AND not getting fucked in the ass for 4 years this time would allow to do some setup and hopefully prop up a much bigger second generation MAGA which is what is desperately needed, if that is achieved, the rest will just keep going by inertia, but this is still a huge ask. But no, Trump is not the endgame, he's just the start of it all.

If the threat is vague, then it fails to justify why they have rigged ballots. It has to be well-known, fast-acting, somewhat well defined, and omnipresent to get everyone to go full lockdown.

I'm convinced they'll just declare a national emergency, not even bother with lockdowns and just go "oops, all mail ballots" during election day. I'd say it's a lot simpler than that, they actually think Newson is a superstar because they are that detached from reality. Lets not forget the even more pathetic offerings they have.
