Unless these "snacks" are 10 year old bourbons, even a family of 7 should not be spending more then 1400 bucks a month on food, drink and snacks. That's 50 dollars a week, per person btw. And that is on the extreme HIGH end for a big name youtube star pulling the big bucks. More frugal families can easily feed a family at a rate of 20 dollars a person per week.

Of course living on rice, beans and soup sucks ass.

Not able to keep up on the thread as much as I used to, so if this has already been stated then my apologies. But I'm catching up on the MATI stream and something occurred to me.

This comes from the fact that Nick is obviously trying his damndest to *wink wink nudge nudge* Josh into taking action on his thread and action towards his detractors to correct the record while desperately trying to cling to plausible deniability. It's obvious to anyone and not something revelatory. But Josh is just too autistic to catch on. That is what makes him incapable of understanding social cues.

Nick, however, doesn't realize that he is the one too retarded to understand social cues and that Josh is simply refusing to do as he is asking.

Again, not super revelatory but I figured I'd participate in the discussion to at least some degree while I have free time.

You summed it up pretty well. I think it's also a bit of projective deflection as well, as he did that rant shortly after Null mentioned his cryptic protests about the thread on MATI. Having your machevillan plot involving cryptic calls from the shower revealed would have rattled his nerves.

Star Trek: Fleet Command offends me at a spiritual level. Fortunately for me however, as I got older, I converted to the sci-first doctrines of Heinlein and Herbert.

No, I mean my Dad would go over it’s a better deal by going to Store A rather than Store B and then factor in gas costs, too. My mom would also do this.

It wasn’t like an interrogation, more just “The off brand is just as good why did you go to B for them, they’re cheaper at A.” My grandparents did this, too.
It was annoying as a kid, but it did indoctrinate me into taking quality vs cost analysis into my purchasing habits forever, even if I’m willing to try the more expensive shit to try every now and then.

It’s a life lesson/ life skill to not take for granted because if I didn’t have it I could be like the non-practicing AIDS attorney and letting some dogfucker/ foreign whore take me to the cleaner.

You've inspired me to be creative, even a little bit. I'm gonna try to come up with some other funny ones but this was an easy poster to mock up.

Also of note: I had to flip Nick's face horizontally to get it angled and lit somewhat correctly. So if he looks unusual, that's why.
