-Internet Historian stole the script for his video, word for word

-After that, sneakily didn't tell anyone what the problem was, and tried to reupload it by rephrasing some segments.

-None of the rephrasing made it not plagiarism, it was the most basic shit a high school student would do.

-Crediting on the reupload doesn't make it not stealing. You wouldn't want a person of socio-economics to steal your bike, even if he paints your name on it to give credit.

It is very clear the entire episode is based around the article's content. However, aside from certain similarities that comes naturally with the content (only so many ways to tell the same story), the articles hour/chapter breaks are not chronological. Most of the words of the article have been completely re-written forming the story into an actual script that is different enough to be somewhat defensible. Though, a shout out at the end of the video for inspiration would be nice; that point's been beaten to death. What I'm more annoyed with is how much power legitmate or iligitmate copyright strikes have. Think about it, you worked six months putting together 1 of two big dollar money maker videos out to help pay the bills and your employees only to have all of that revenue taken away because a news article is somewhat similar to your video. Just two words can take away hundreds of thousands of dollars.
