You seemed pretty cocky about what was obviously a really massive project. Not that that excuses the quality of Jet's edit. This reminds me of all the people who said they could "make YanSim in a month" only to find out how much actual work it requires.
if we had known back in May that the final edit would be ass, I could see someone racing Jet to finish an alternative cut maybe six months after the official one got done. But finishing probably a year after the real deal, without any new basement footage, is pointless.
My take is that, even though when episode 8 was delayed they said "When an episode is released it's kinda permanent," I wouldn't be disgusted or embarrassed by them quietly reuploading some of the episodes as "director's cuts." I even think that's what the job of a fan could be, to just take what they released and add what's logically missing.
Episode 1 (pilot): add the rules and prize information, and more of the early tone-setting stuff like Letty sitting too close to Vance and Vance pretending to blow his brains out over Simmons talking, and Jon and Sylvia talking about what brought them on the show at 3 AM.
Episode 2(full potential): add the rehearsal for and performance of the skits
Episode 3 (nine five) is fine
Episode 4: add schizo vance, and more of the alliance against letty and jon
Episode 5: add a small snippet of impersonations and how the mood of the house got really sour towards everyone but especially letty post jon, take more time with the sylvia vs letty fight and the aftermath where sylvia was getting raked, also put in the big confrontation where letty comes out of the porta potty and faces down everyone
Episode 6: sylvia vs frank, frank hugging it out with fatty, just more frank in general
Episode 7: add in letty hassle (the night frank left), maybe just more honesty with the edit as it's not like we don't know where vance went and if the show is for "new" viewers then it's better to just explain it
