Why is every npc completely tatted up? It's looks pretty gross.
Modern American society.

This will probably be fun to play (read: fuck around and kill random peds) but a game set in modern day Vice City just feels wrong.
My expectations of Vice City come from the PS2 era. A glitzy, 80s rendition of Miami Beach with neon, blocky textures and gorgeous weather conditions. Now? It looks like your typical American city, hell, even previous open world games can compare.

As someone on twitter said: they got 2020s era Miami 100% accurate, the only reason you'd hate it is if you don't like modern day mainstream culture.
Yeah, basically so. I have to remind myself that this is a parody of current culture. Even so, the Houser brothers said that producing satirical material NOW would be difficult as the world has gone to hell and back. I'm sure it'll be dated right on release since it's rapidly changing at a moment's notice.

Can I buy real cheese in Vice City?
It's going to be even more immersive than Red Dead Redemption 2.

Remember how you had to go through a catalog to buy things? Well now when you go to a restaurant to eat to refill health, you have to take out your phone and take a picture of a QR code to open the menu.

Isn't Miami a more different place when compared to other cities from the rest of Florida?
It has a considerably greater nigger population than the rest of Florida. Miami, Tallahase, and Fort Lauderdale are the cities that I would say are the most filled with urban youth in my experience. Jacksonville, Cape Coral, and Orlando much less so.
