This pretty much confirms that that iDubbbz stream VODs channel was his, which by the way he stopped updating 2 months ago (or maybe it was a super fan that got told to stop by Ian *No, it has to be Ian. The trick to recover deleted VODs doesn't seem well known and I don't think someone who would know it would cave in to Ian asking for VODs to be taken down. Furthermore he unlisted the playlist rather than just nuking the whole thing, which is consistent behaviour with what he did for his Content Cops. But he continued updating the playlist for a little while after, which doesn't make sense unless it's the streamer themselves uploading these to make highlight reels later). Not like it would matter since he unlisted the whole ass playlist when the channel was posted on the thread.

This is the second time they've messed up recording the podcast.
Earlier in the thread there was one that they lost the video to so, iirc, they put it up as an audio-only on patreon.
Both of them have been making videos for over 10 years, but they still manage to fuck up recording twice in the span of a fortnight, catastrophically enough that they write both videos off.

Based on how the summary describes it (cus I ain’t listening to that shit) it sounds like the topic was anisa’s idea, they recorded it, Idubbz knew it was terrible, cringe and certainly going to garner more hate (like when she says idubbz is submissive in bed or other humiliations) so he “lost the audio”. This is why when she said they should try again he brushed it off. Anisa believes this cus 1) she is an idiot and 2) we all know she can’t edit for shit and probably hasn’t looked at a raw recording since they met so it’s easy for idubbz just to say it got lost

In a healthy collaborative creative relationship he could just say behind the scenes “yeah that ep was shit and more trouble than it’s worth” but this obviously isn’t that so we get to peer a little bit into the creative theatre idubbz plays in order to both damage control while avoiding confrontation with his master.

Reminds me of stories where chinese governors and officials would make up elaborate lies to cover up bad situations out of fear the emperor would just execute them in childish rage.
