"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

So I started listening to last night’s stream this morning before work and had apparently stopped it half way through a sentence

I just went back to rumble to carry on where it left off and the first thing I heard was “fat cunt” (1:37:45)

:spudking:

I only know Dick because of MATI and I was genuinely surprised at how good he was at singing and piano

What is the greater mystery? The meaning of TTD? Or Obama's last name?

Breaking out a capybara for "big news" would be a pretty funny shtick. Dunno Null's position on them though, people seem oddly polarized on them being either water-rats or giant adorable hamsters.
Capybaras don't have tails, so they are like giant sleepy guinea pigs. Someone tried to argue with me about capybaras being 'giant water rats' recently, and it turned out they were thinking of the nutria, which is a tail-having giant water rat.

add penist to the list

Give me the puzzle pieces and call me a nigger but I can't find the comic about the pepperoni gift from Patrick Tomlinson and there are a few friends of mine who are invested in laughing at Patrick that would love to see that comic

Destiny posted cringe again. :(

>conflating piracy with adblock, and then using the word "steal"
I thought desTINY was supposed to be le epic debate man? Maybe he just doesn't try when he's by himself, but he's totally wrong about everything here.

Bob Iger publicly admitted that pandering to ESG diversity garbage lowered Disney's profits because general audiences were hostile to it. That's what changed, you fucking cuck. People don't just randomly decide to start doing something en masse for no reason.
The Internet has never been a privately owned corporate product that a handful of companies have exclusive rights to. They are not entitled to my time, and as just stated in the ESG bullshit example, I am entitled to utilize free and open source software to bypass their time wasting nonsense because firefox and ublock origin have a right to exist. Feel free to build your own internet and invite all your faggot friends if you don't like it.
Piracy is not theft. Kill yourself.

Since the gay men adopting babies convo is relevant atm I came across this the other day predditors just don't understand why people wouldn't be ok with this picture

Nevermind the horror of two faggots buying a baby to then turn around and blatantly use that baby as a billboard is a whole extra layer of disgusting. The comments are full of predditors pretending to not understand how that onsesie is political which is hilarious.

It's because it was a federal document for shareholders that could get him sued if he was not honest about why their stock was destroyed. The main thing is he didn't say he would change. He promises to try to serve the audience better.
it's just 2023 Desinity being the devil's advocate on the issue when 2023 keeps winning on pirating questions.(worst fears end up coming true about industries)
Piracy is like Gabe said ". Piracy is almost always a service problem and not a pricing problem".

Watching through that stream a few things popped out at me. First I'm left wondering after that surrogacy segment how the actual fuck it's not considered human trafficking by "conservatives". Second, although you argued the point really well on Internet Historian's plagiarism, I disagree specifically on giving them a portion of the money he made off of the video in total due to the idea it'd possibly be retroactive, I think a more reasonable way he could've handled it would've been to negotiate some kind of lump one-time payment to the author(s) of the article, and edit the video with an accreditation; otherwise leaving it alone.

Third is it hit me like a ton of bricks when I got to the Maddox segment that Dax is keeping around "80's girl" as a trophy in a very fucked-up way, and that given what we know about him now it's not entirely out of the question that he thinks of Maddox when he's fucking her.

Capybaras are rodents, so you could say they're "related" to rats. Otters, on the otter hand and according to wikipedia, are lutridae and part of the family of mustelidae.
If you mean that both capybaras and otters look like giant water rats, then yes.

They’re really not due any money at all. It’s not like the events portrayed by IH were fictional or fictionalized, sprung entirely from the article author’s brow; the article was describing a historic event that IH or his scriptwriter used as a reference. A citation at the end with the others would have been sufficient, anything more was simply to curb any potential issues arrising from the court of public opinion.

greyhound racing retirees are the ones most in need of a forever home. if one isn't up to the task, definitely do not half-ass this decision.
I'll say that yes, for yourself it's better and easier to adopt one that hasn't been used for races, because of the damage and trauma they put them through, but adopting one who was rescued from the races is a very nice and good thing to do, if you feel capable of helping a dog through it.

There'd be difficulties, but it's not like adopting a fighting ring shitbull.
Ex-racing greyhounds can be awesome pets, but they're more complicated and can take more time to adapt to being a pet and come out of their shell to show their personality.

The conditions racing greyhounds are kept in vary wildly and have a huge impact on their ability to adapt to being a family pet. Also some charities that rehome racing greyhounds do great job getting them ready for a new home, whereas some try to just offload them as quickly as possible without trying to acclimatize them to being pets.

Since Josh hasn't had a dog before, I think it's a better idea to just get one who hasn't been raced. These dogs still need homes even if they haven't been through the same trauma.

Depending on where you are, there may be organizations dedicated to rescuing them, so you can get them for free or a small processing fee. They often have puppies, so it's not gonna be all damaged adult rescues.
Yeah, for most charities you'll be paying less for the dog than they spend on the expenses they pay to get them ready to be a pet. Definitely look into the charity before you adopt through them, especially if they're offering dogs for free. Some try to make sure the adoption will be successful by getting them ready to be adopted, others are just trying to offload as many as they can, as quickly as they can.

The ones funded by the racing industry where I am are complete shit compared to the smaller charities. They're just being used to get rid of dogs because the gov made it illegal to euthenize them when they're too old to race.

I spent a large part of my childhood around racing dogs, and every greyhound I've met has been a happy, human-loving retard. Not as bad as golden retrievers, but they certainly aren't smart. Their tails are like muscular whips that will do a number on your thighs. They always manage to sleep in places where they're in everybody's way, and you have to step over them because they sure as heck aren't getting up.

Fun breed though.

If you define canine intelligence as how easy it is to teach them to do what you want, then greyhounds are retarded. I think it's just their temperament rather than a lack of intelligence though. They aren't obsessed with pleasing you kinda like a cat, but they're still really affectionate and get really attached.

Maybe I'm talking out of my ass, but I think dogs that are "intelligent"/easy to train tend to also be the dog that need way more stimulation/attention to prevent them doing destructive shit.

On another note my respect for KF as a forum has gone up, I was expecting at least a bit of pushback, but it seems like a lot of people are based greyhound appreciators.
