Compare with media like Golden Kamuy that gives the viewer a in depth look into Ainu culture which includes the silly, scary and morally objectionable.
Complete tangent, but I got curious and started reading it and I'm hooked. So thanks for that. Without spoiling anything, do tell me if it keeps a more or less consistent quality during it's runtime.

Pretty much yes, some chapters have different tones, which actually makes it always feeling fresh. It also knows when to subvert expectations and when to play things straight. It's how a journey story should be, always surprising but never in a way that makes you turn back.

Back on topic, Avatar mostly did the journey aspect pretty well, even when characters were stuck inside a location the show still delved into how life is there. Meanwhile Korra didn't have that part, the city was never really explored and the spirit world is so nonsensical in Korra that there's no point. The closest the show got to being a journey was season 3, but I can't remember any lovation besides the Metal city.

I'm almost done with rewatching season 2 and so far while it's good I can't help but notice how odd of a decision it was to have Aang get all upset about killing the fire lord considering the things he's done to random Fire Nation soldiers. During the assault on the northern air temple he knocked the tanks of the cliff which could've easily killed the soilders inside. And in the drill episode he had no problem causing a gaint metal machine filled with people to collapse on it's self.

I feel like they should get Adam Sandler to play as Azula and I will scream with laughter
And he should use the voice he used for Whitey's sister.

I blame A.I

It's fuckin weird how it works. The south isn't very smart but these people seemed to ( at-least on the surface ) understand that sometimes you just cant win/find a solution. The liberals always try to get to some victory or endgame and it just doesn't work cause you overlook so many things and see what you want. I don't remember where I heard this but it is a classic smart guy mistake that they make thinking they have seen all angles to something. When a stupid person is shown something above their understanding they know that they are dumb and cant process it so they avoid it to prevent being scammed. I am now in the weird fucking position of saying a Klansman from Louisiana is smart and I must go shower cause I feel dirty.

Holy shit I didnt expect null to reply to me...lol how the hell out of all the threads did you end up at this one?
