The ProJared tweet was probably one of my most favorite DSP happenings within the last couple of boring years.

Phil reached peak levels of Smugsyde Phil over his “viral tweet” and kept talking about it.

Even got so excited for a DSP redemption arc that he recorded an entire DEEBUNKED! video for the new viewers he was hoping the tweet would attract.

There have been a couple times he thought he was going to "get his old viewers back" and they were all hilarious. My favorite is still when he thought the GTA remaster was going to make him popular again. Still not sure why he thought that, but him starting the stream with "Welcome home" had me in tears.

I think we get a full on lecture about how gaming media is rigged and BG3 is only carried by hype. Then after he plays the character creator of BG3 for 2 hours and quits the game he will double down on it being over hyped and the game awards being useless. If you want REAL game awards tune into the objective and fair DSP gaming countdown!

The exact opposite happend. No one talks about Starfield. Mortal Kombat got forgotten within a week. Lies of P, despite being a souls clone, was good but not really talked about as much as Baldurs Gate 3.

But as funny as it is Zelda, the game that made Phil look like an idiot to millions of people, won Best Action Adventure. Not GOTY but still something. Though he might jerk himself off over SF 6 being the best fighting game of 2023 and then reiterate how good he is at SF despite the fact he never managed to get far in the Master's League or even try to get to Legend

I have to disagree on the Lies of P part.
The game was talked about a ton especially in the Soulsborne spheres and I would argue it isn't "just" a Souls clone. You could tell a Souls fan to play it and if one wouldn't know beforehand, one would say this is made by Fromsoft.
The game sold over a million copies in under a month (of which around 400k were purchases on Steam) so the word of mouth was also pretty good.

I would even go as far as to say it should have been nominated for GOTY as well and that it got snubbed hard at the awards.

The only people who didn't play this game were the "professional" journos.

I don't know if anyone watched all of the game awards but Forza won some sort of accessibility award and the team gave a special shout out to superblindman for all his work. I've been out of the loop a little bit but haven't seen him mentioned on any of Phil's streams recently, is he persona non grata these days? If not I really hope Phil mentions this.

He'll shower him with fake praise and congratulations but it won't be able to fully mask his utter resentment at the fact that a literal blind retard from his chat who occasionally throws pity money at him has received genuine industry recognition and the closest Phil will ever come to that is the God Of War devs using him as an example of how they make their games for kids and the disabled in spite of his (supposed) two working eyes.

Some other autistic, not me, can probably go and look at Phil's win/loss ratio, minus the smurf thumping by jumping consoles to gorilla slam his on credit controller climb back up over a fresh set of other platform Derich competition, to show that once he gets past training wheels off matches, he's a sub .500 match winner, with all the salt he erupts every session, I can tell you're going to find a win ratio in that subdivision of maybe 33%, possibly as high as 41%, which is fitting for lowtsydephil.
