I hope crp gets out of this at some point, but him being used as a cudgel against zelensky is great. i am a bit let down the tranny faggot isn't mentioned, that is a pretty important part of the story, an american citizen being used by a foreign power to intimate and threaten other american (and other) citizens is pretty disgusting.

Disappointed that the tranny wasn't mentioned. It's mostly just CRP's dad accusing Biden of being responsible for his arrest and not talking about how retarded it was to denounce a country that he was in while they are at war.
All things considered, we did go above and beyond to release a negress from an enemy nation over legit drug trafficking charges. It's not illogical to think the US would do the same for a journalist named Gonzalo locked up for speech crimes by our nation's 2nd greatest ally.

Lol fuck that retard, maybe don't be a vocal propagandist for a country that has repeatedly invaded East European countries and attempted genocide.
I don't mean to bash Americans, but I think Americans don't understand Europe at all. Your enlightenment ideals do not function in a region where people are in wartime because they're being invaded again by their historic oppressors.

He's already dead.

Don't understand? I think that is pretty much the common consensus here in this thread. When war starts, the whole wide limits of "free speech" rules kind of get side-lined for a while until everyone is safe again. A huge component of war is propaganda and morale.

When the US started into Iraq and Afghanistan it didn't take long for Americans to start bashing those wars and criticizing nearly everything going on with the army. Even stuff about the "green zone" caused some controversy for how the US army provided some fast food to troops as it was viewed as ridiculous to provide a big safe base for troops. I remember people complaining that troops should have been more comfortable just being alongside Iraqis when really they likely would have been killed trying to do so.

So it's sorta been the norm for Americans for decades now to criticize how nicely wars are done and imagine they need to be done in a more respectable manner, regardless of how safe it'd make it for those involved.

@SBG When it comes to the US criticizing off shores wars... well for us skirmishes., there is no real existential threat to US citizens. Bitching about the merits of such wars and if we should be involved at all really doesn't affect us or the likelihood of success. Even Brits and Candians will complain about why they are sending solders out to the middle east.

I guess to be more specific, when you home country gets invaded, everyone with a lick of sense knowns that all of the nice civil rules we have, goes out the fucking window until the invasion is dealt with.

Yeah I know, I disagree with the guy's post of this somehow exploiting American citizens.
By 'don't understand' I mean you deserve to be imprisoned for being a sexpat parasite and propagandist regardless of you're an American citizen or not. And that American 'neutral' isolationists have no situational awareness.

What's up with the American psyche that stops them from waging war effectively? Their military is perfect but their internal politics are what hampers their ability to wage war properly. China and North Korea exists because they fired MacArthur.

The US is amazing at conducting wars, but sucks at ending them.

Like with Afghanistan, US generals were asked by Trump and had no idea what a win condition was. The idea of an end didn't make sense to them. It's not even a matter of internal politics necessarily because the US government largely doesn't give a shit what the voters want.

I feel like there's a problem of the US government both not wanting to escalate conflicts (to the point where they have to directly face other countries like China, Iran, or Russia), but also not wanting to accept an end to a conflict that goes against the elites' ideals (which can include helping women's studies majors prosper in Afghanistan or avoiding a genocide).

It probably doesn't help that there's a deranged belief that other countries would act as allies with helping during conflicts, when even Poland will throw a fit over Ukrainian grain shipments going through their country because it could inconvenience them. So the US keeps acting like we're all in this together to push forth these universal ideals that most countries view as irrelevant. Makes the US look like it's acting like the World Police.

I go between "Elon is a fucking retard" and "Elon rocks" a few times a day but this is one of the rocks moments.

Also I assume most people here know this already but his Starlink is what provides a lot of Ukraine's communications, even if he refused to let them use it for actual counter-invasions. So they can hardly just ignore him. I hope he demands they bring him that troon's head on a platter.
