This might help.
The Bill Mack painting I’m referring to is not one of the ones on the floor in his background. It is a painting of Johnny Depp however. He showed it in the stream and said he bought it because he liked the artist who is also from Minnesota. He also talked about going the auction and that the artist makes paintings out of the Hollywood sign which includes subject related paraphernalia, like including Muhammad Ali’s gloves with the painting of him.

Bucking against the chains of middle aged suburban ennui even at the cost of one's life is an act of heroism to that specific type of weak, insecure modern man who feels emasculated by everyone around them on a daily basis.
Had very similar thoughts about Nicks obsession with that stupid film (American Beauty.) This was well put, I couldn’t quite find the right words to convey that same sentiment. Old Balldo was SO moved by the tale of Lester, (Kevin Spacey's character in the film,) a cuck, a pushover, sexually deviant in many ways, a man garnering little respect, attempting to make more of his pathetic existence. Watching the clip of Nick explaining to Daxipad about why he finds the movie compelling, he got really fucking excited about Lester-molester telling off his “evil BITCH WIFE.” Not hard to see his resentment towards his wife & family boil over. Balldo is a dumb SOB.

What the fuck is wrong with you Nick? Just tell the nanny to stop buying bullshit, it's your money. What's the point of making a whole song and dance about it? Actually don't tell her to stop. She's earned the right to spend your money if this is what you have to do
He's a coward bitch irl, I guess.

My guess is that nick and our wife realized that if they piss off the nanny and she quits, they will not be able to find a replacement and since they're so lazy, they're 'stuck'. The nanny rules the house.

You might be right but, as I recall from that movie, Lester was a cubicle slave. Nick actually had a much better thing going for a while. I know there's a theory that the way Vic ended broke him, but he had already transitioned successfully into live trial coverage and could have kept that going.

If it's the wife and kids that is causing him to act this way, that is some really deep seated hatred. It's also disgusting.

His resentment over his wife & kids, to be specific. That’s been my suspicion from the start, honestly. Resentment is the number one relationship killer, regardless of relationship type. Be it marriage, committed relationship, dating, friends, children, siblings, etc. His deep desire is to be free, yet his previous life choices hold him back. Balldo’s coping mechanisms are dragging him down, doubling the speed of his resentment hell. Not even Energii King can save him now.

But there has to be some critical lack of foresight if that is true. That has to have been a rising problem for him around his peak. So the superberries were flowing back then, why don't just suck it up and suffer for a year a two before splitting up. If she'll take half your stuff, better make sure your half is big enough. Better yet, what stopped him from divorcing her right then and there? Yeah, 5 kids, major life descision and all, but at that point the audience were not super invested in her, barely at all. Nick had an aura of professionalism around him, which could have been maintained easily. Just keep coasting on live trials, shut your mouth, settle your divorce in the mean time and after it is done you are free to drink and have all the BBC anal railing you crave.

Unless the Godwinson's s angle is true and his wife is full on batshit banshee that is safer left undivorced, due to her having something really spicy on him / just being willing to make shit up. Either way I can't imagine her being happy / fully sane with her lack of intervention during his spiral in broad daylight.

Not to mention that art critique has been proven to be an actual literal scam to avoid taxes since like what? 20 years ago?

Art criticism is indeed, complete nonsense. That said, I read an absolutely fascinating book about the economics of the fine art market quite recently. The $12 million stuffed shark: The curious economics of contemporary art.

When asked 'Who are the great contemporary artists', no two experts offered the same list. None of it is about art, ALL of it is about branding. Branded dealers, branded collectors, branded galleries, branded artists. People buy Jeff Koons or Damien Hirst for the same reason they buy Rolex or Louis Vuitton. Because they have no taste of their own, and these are what the branded dealers have vouched for as the product most likely to improve your status and least likely to lose money.

Eighty percent of the art bought from local dealers and art fairs will NEVER resell at the purchase price. Fewer than half of the modern and contemporary artists who were offered for sale in Christies and Sothebys sales twenty-five years ago are still offered in major auctions. If you buy any non-trophy work from an artist or school of art that isn't in the very first rank, there's likely to be little or no interest in it just ten years later.

That may be so, but these people more often than not self-identify as "libertarian" and rarely, if ever, "libertine."

Like I said, I don't automatically assume all self-declared libertarians turn out like this, I understand that's probably unfair.

But god damn, a lot of them do. Thanks to that, I would be loathe in this day and age to identify as "libertarian" even if I agree with the philosophy in some respects and under certain circumstances.
Yeah it blows that pedophiles, communists, socialists, anarchists, and assorted retards and freaks identify as libertarian.

But it's not hard to point out, really, the problems each group has save for anarchists as to why they immediately don't fit under the term.

I thought it was just "lifestyle" types and money laundering that kept the "art" business afloat.

I've never really been able to take any notion of what people consider "art" seriously after the guy duct-taped a banana to a wall and it was worth some stupid amount. Props to the guy that ate it and called doing it art, though.

It would be hilarious if she goes full Amber Turd on him, almost even more hilarious if it's total hallucination.

Ernst, one of the original Dadaists, offered an axe to anyone pissed off by one of his sculptures so they could smash it if they liked.

That's why the art trade is the more genteel way of money laundering.

Humans really start recording memories at around age four, though some report still holding vague memories from early toddlerhood and even infancy. We gain more self-awareness as the years tick by but around age 8 is when we really start to realize we have complex emotions, and try to start expressing them. For the religious, eight years is also the most commonly accepted age for when children are more responsible for their choices and actions, and therefore sins. I would say this lines up with my personal experience...I can remember one day in second grade realizing hey, I have a brain, think my own thoughts, and this is the world as I experience it and will one day die, and no longer think things, holy shit. It was a very weird feeling and I think I got actual chills. Think I even ran to my mom freaking out about it. I can also say my earliest memory whose date I can 100% verify is my fifth birthday party, and maybe the fist day of kindergarten.

Now why did I just write that? Well because I want you to try to think back to when you started gaining more self awareness, and then imagine what it might be like to grow up and think, "Hey, why the fuck is my dad palling around with people that defend diddling kids my age and defending it?" I don't remember how old I was when I really figured out what pedophiles were, what "bad touching" meant...maybe like fourth grade? This isn't even considering all the balldo whiskey bottle activity.

I just feel bad for these kids, especially the older ones because they can understand more than like a 6 year old. Imagine being at lunch one day and one of your friends starts asking you about your dad's bestie Drexel being a groomer.

What the FUCK is hard to understand about the fact that if you don't accept Christ as the son of God, you ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN?

Hearing him talk about the people at church inviting him into the under-50 parents’ group for some support and fellowship was much more illuminating for me than reading everyone’s recaps.

It sounds to me like Nick is bringing a lot of drama into Kayla’s life with his online antics. They only go to that church because it’s important to her and she and the children have a solid social circle there. And here’s her husband — who can’t even pretend he’s there by choice — shit-talking them every time he streams.

I honestly haven't paid much attention to Nick since the initial lawsuit with Dax. He was fairly interesting and something I'd turn on once in awhile but never really did get into the whole IBS genre.

I only kind of stumbled back into this due to Josh highlighting Maddox (out of hiding) video 6 years later.

I've been crawling through this for the last couple of days and the more I see of Nick's debauchery over the last few years as well as the apparent attempts of his wife and friends to retrieve him from the cusp - definitely Lutheran. The fact that he worked for Thrivent, their under 50s soiree.. I just smell him rejecting absolutely everything about Lutheranism.

I think you’re viewing things too logically, when Nick is very much an emotional animal. He could only tolerate being clowned on by LawTube because he had his own personal army at that time.

But when Vic well and truly lost, and it was 100% verifiably due to the unqualified attorney Nick was so eager to set him up with, I think he suffered the fallout as a narcissistic injury that challenged his entire carefully crafted self-image.

It doesn’t help that he’s an immature putz who thinks drinking heavily on a daily basis is badass rather than pathetic.

Nothing another Jamaica trip can't fix.

Nick said Kayla didn’t want to go on the trip to Mar-a-lago with him. He seemed kind of annoyed by that, despite saying it would have been fine with him if she had not gone. The way Nick drunkenly tells a story & the fact that he is a liar makes it impossible to guess why Kayla didn’t want to go or why she went despite not wanting to. Maybe she didn’t want to be seen or photographed next to a retard in a hot topic belt.

That sounds like Kayla doesn't trust Nick. Men who always travels with his wife usually means he has cheated before and gotten caught and now can't travel without his wife under threat of divorce rape.

That was supposed to be the arrangement, that he wouldn’t travel without her, after the Texas trip where he got roofied (or whatever happened). The way he told it about Florida was that she said she couldn’t go because the kids had stuff & she had “appointments” (?) scheduled. Not sure but it sounded like the kids came with them to Florida & stayed at the grandparents. Nick told Kayla don’t worry about the kids & reschedule your appointments. She did do that and agreed to go, but then told him it wasn’t so much the kids or appts, she just flat out didn’t want to go there with him. She suggested he take his father to maralago since he’d wanted to go. Nick said he couldn’t do that, there was a pre security registration thing and he already had it done for her name / identification not his father’s & it was a whole thing, no he couldn't change it. Kayla felt bad about that & so went. Nick was getting worked up by the end & said it would have been fine had she not gone although he sounded aggravated that she’d changed her mind back and forth. Not sure if that’s what was the real annoyance or what. He brought it up on the topic of security at places.
