Elissa uploaded a bit of a retrospective series re: the Oct 2022 Locals stream where Mandy posted bobs and started it all (third vid was posted last year with Lady Rackets' response)

C or D-tier Rekieta orbiter Divinity Said is in the third clip along with Potentially Criminal. Divinity Said has been spotted a few times in Elissa's comments ragging on Nick since.

You’d think that since it’s Nicks favorite movie he’d know (as has been pointed out here in this thread) that the movie says the character of Angela is 16.
Does the movie explicitly say her age?

It's been a long time since I've seen that movie, but Wikipedia claims the Jane character is 16, and this article from The Independent claims the Angela character is 17.

I will note, in grudging fairness to Nick, the movie is apparently set in the Chicago suburbs (albeit filmed in California), and the AoC for Illinois is 17.

His views on the movie are still fucking creepy though. Even if he could argue he's technically not arguing in favor of statutory rape.

I had the same problem with that stupid "Disappearance of Rachel Foster" game. I don't care if the game is set in Montana. The developers are still gross.

Getting into the bullshit semantics is the game Balldoman wants others to play, but it misses the point. While there might be a legal distinction if that were real life and the girl was 18 or 17 or 16- the actions are those of a sick fuck, regardless of the law.

This one actually provides an interesting summary of Nick's college years:

1) First year after high school, he attended local community college. He didn't go to class and his credits didn't transfer the next year.
2) Second year he went Southwest Minnesota State University because his high school friend went there and he just stayed in his dorm room and played everquest constantly.
3) Third year is only friend left the school. He took up martial arts and became a male cheerleader.
4) Fourth year Nick claims he lived in his underwear in his dorm room and had both male underwear friends and female cheerleaders in their underwear hanging out in his dorm room.

One remaining mystery is if the friend he followed to that school was Drexel. He went to high school with Drexel and its seemed from stories that Drexel was attending that school. But it could still be someone else.

IIRC Drex is a year younger (at least in terms of year in school) and they did attend the same college, so it very well might be.
Nick goes to Community College, wastes a year, Drex graduates high school a year later and goes to SWMSU, and Nick follows, they both become cheerleaders, etc.

I think it could be, but I can't say with certainty.

You're not wrong.

I just think it would be extra funny if it turned out his "Angela could be 18" cope is demonstrably bullshit according to something from the movie itself.

American Beauty is certainly a weird hill for Nick to die on. Again, I don't think I've ever encountered anybody else who's talked about the movie the way he has.

That movie was massively over-hyped back in 1999, but critical reappraisals have been less kind.

I was like a Freshman when American Beauty came out and for some reason still remember my reaction after watching it being that Lester was a loser who fucked up his family no matter what choices he had made. The fact that me at 14 knew that and Nick at 40+ doesn't is sad to me. He thinks that he set his daughter up to be 'okay' in life by the end of the film? The same thot of a daughter that let her neighbor film her tits?

I may be off on this, but my recollection is that:
Drexel had an athletic scholarship to go to college [somewhere in Texas]. He was down there for a year but got hurt. After that, he ends up transferring up to Southwest Minnesota State University to join up with Balldoman.

Getting lost in the weeds of that kinda stuff is pointless though. He's already got enough of a pedo stank on him from defending Cuties and Vito so what's one more questionably aged hill to die on?

This is the same guy who thinks every onlyfans whore is raking in the big bucks and her kids being bullied by their classmates over it is nothing in the face of hypothetical trips to Disneyland so it checks out.

I used to really like Nick's show, loved having it for background noise, but recently with all this crazy shit, its been reminding me of a line from the song Six Ways 'Til Sunday by Rise Against

"You're claiming to be something different
So wanting to believe
That you're better than the rest
To make up for your self-esteem
You talk to hear your own voice and
You've left me no choice but to choose
I miss the person that you were
But I don't miss you
"

And for the life of me I couldn't figure out why, because I haven't really listened to those guys in years. And I just realized its because of my brain's borderline schizophrenic word association, because Rise Against's song Last Chance Blueprint samples a few seconds of dialogue from American Beauty. So thank you frens for dredging up all this weird nostalgia centered around American Beauty of all fucking things.

And who also a teenage drug dealer that she runs away with in the end.

About the only thing I'd give Nick is that, yes... Annette Benning's character is an adulterous cunt.

But that's why divorce exists. If Nick is experiencing some sort of situation like like with Kayla (I know there's been rumors of black bulls since forever), he might consider looking into that option.

i wonder why he went to community college in the first place, my first assumption is he fucked around in high school and didnt do good on his SAT
i went to save on costs. i also didnt do great on my SAT, but i got out of community college with a 3.7. so that was good enough to transfer.

All the American Beauty shit has me really concerned about the neighborhood kids/his daughter's friends. I'm waiting for the "look, I'm not a weirdo. But... my daughter has this one friend, this ONE - ok. And ya see, the really weird thing is, ya see, this friend she keeps coming on to me. AND AND AND, wait hold on HOLD ON. She's 15, so she's not even really a kid, ya know?.... like, she can drive a car - on a learners perit - but stil" after one too many whiskeys. Like all his other strange tirades I imagine he'd couch the whole thing in the context of he never ever would, but really wants to.

Maybe he wants to pull a Drexel on Drexel, and groom his daughter. He does have a wierd affinity to black people

The college he went to in his second year (Southwest Minnesota State) has almost no solid admission requirements and almost everyone gets in. I would assume he went to community college first because his parents wanted him to do something after high school and that was the minimum he could get away with.

How does he get food poisoning if he doesn't eat?
You'd get sick too if you were subsisting on a diet of whiskey and black bull cum.

She's also the one that leaked the text of Faran talking to a third party about Nick saying Kayla wanted to start swinging.

Pretty sure the daughter is specified as 16 and Angela is her classmate, so. . .

Never saw the movie but read 16 on Kiwi Farms & took it as gospel truth.
Just checked though & Google does say the character of Angela is 17.
Either way, this post below gets to the point of the matter.

Edit: script says 16 (per @Strix454 post) but wonder if that’s only in the script but isn’t said outright in the movie? Doesn’t really matter but would be funny if the movie does make an explicit statement while Nick is going on saying well actually it doesn’t, & has been using that oversight to say therefore his gross views are ok.

He has said that even if somethin happened to their marriage, the house is in a trust in neither of their names and the children would be provided for. it is set up supposedly that neither of them can screw the other over.
Sounds like a spendthrift trust, the kind you get for family members who are so fucking retarded they can't be trusted with money, but you can't just cut entirely out of the generational wealth transfer tree. Nick is considered a complete fucking retard by his own family. They set shit up specifically to keep him from fucking it up for their grandchildren, which he'd obviously do if he were left to his own retarded devices.

Fucking faggot.
