Would appreciate a second or third opinion on this. If I had to invent a phrase it'd be "clambrain". From the male point of view such behavior falls under "woman moment" but I don't imagine that's what other women would call it.

An agree sticker is not enough. Like was said before, they're fantastic for "catching" people, or if you are so broken that you actually can't overcome an issue (e.g. a TBI or birth defect), so I never want to say people should go without them. They're like the brain version of a cast, though. Unless you're in the aforementioned category of broken-brain, the goal should be to get off them eventually, even if "eventually" is 10 years down the line.

In this case, what women "do" is get manipulated by a cluster of traits which come from extreme insecurity and impulsivity. What they "say" is that I should try to be an interesting and emotionally mature person. I'm going to choose to go with what they "say", I don't need to fuck so badly that I'm willing to be an idiot asshole for it.

You know, here's a weird thought-experiment question. Would you feel comfortable dating a guy that draws porn?

Like he isn't a whore, he doesn't fuck other women on camera, but he does get commissioned to draw various scenes of sexual exploit. I ask because it doesn't seem like the same thing, if you date a whore knowingly you're a cuck, but what are you if you just date someone who's good at depicting other women in a sexual context? Would it make you uncomfortable that he is technically thinking of other women for his work?

Like I think it doesn't have to be a negative thing, Frank Frazetta was a god at painting naked women and erotic scenes, and his wife was his muse. He made really beautiful art of her and to me it shows he maintained tender and respectful feelings for her even while drawing a bunch of erotic stuff. Art is different from straight up pornography, there is a zen-like craft in appreciating the human form.

I ask because as an artist what people think of my art is always in the back of my mind, and I've drawn the occasional nude here and there. But I can't imagine how my significant other would feel about it because I've only ever dated other artists. I don't know what it's like outside that headspace.

This is going to sound weird, and maybe it's just me, but is the pornographer being commissioned?
Some part of me feels like there's a psychological difference between drawn porn and live porn, but also between commissioned porn and chosen porn.
Like, if the artist's income was entirely dependent on the Wonder Bread Guy, that would be weirder than "I like drawing transformation porn and people support me on Patreon".
In any case, both are still far FAR preferable to participating in and/or creating porn involving real people.

Dating is inherently manipulative, you present an idealized, best version of yourself that's never real, and it takes living for months/years with that person to actually get to know them.

all i said is that what women say they want and what actually gets them horny usually conflicts a lot. Female dating advice for men is to turn into the most desirable "gay best friend " because thats what they idealize in an abstract but then they go fuck , date and marry someone who is completely the opposite.
