Clicked on her latest survey out of curiosity and was triggered by this question. I dont think our “researcher” has ever done any research into how to write survey questions.

So basically she’s a slob, hates chores ( “doesn’t know how”), is annoying and loud, has loud sex and orgies and wants to pay off her roommates with her sex money so that she doesnt have to clean and can be annoying as she wants.
Holy shit, she wants the "bachelor" life.

Which is odd considering how she pisses and moans about how her Father's church saw women as nothing more than home makers and baby factories.

The group home idea is ridiculous.

First of all, the people insisting living in the bay area means paying $1,000 for a single room are being dramatic and don't know what they're talking about (no offense, but not every leftist housing crisis story is true, guys lol). You can get a nice, modern studio apartment for $850 a month plus maybe $100 in utilities. There is absolutely no need to be subjected to Aella's house of horror in order to live in the bay area.

Except... you need proof of income, to pass a background check and often a credit score check in order to rent. In other words, the kind of people who would take Aella up on her offer are going to be the kind of people who won't get approved elsewhere. She's going to end up in a crack den or with a bunch of late teens and twenty-somethings who let their underage friends drink in her house. Either way, it will end in scandal and potentially jail time. Or, more than likely, it just won't happen.

Moving to the bay area from Texas is going to be such a culture shock for her. Texas is so trash and I know that's going to piss people off but it just is. Obesity and poverty are rampant there... it's a small pond for a girl like Aella. San Fran has actual celebrities and a million gorgeous, normal-but-interesting girls. Reputation is so important amongst the people she wants to be around and the second they get internet hate for being in a photo with her they'll kick her from the group.

I'm all for it!! Let the shit show begin.

It's probably a misrepresentation because she wants to avoid chores due to being a slob or her childhood "abuse".
I second the question. Maybe Oakland, but that city has increasing rental pricing because of gentrification.

Being an integral part of a loving home is regressive and aimless. Aella has found the path of true fulfillment for a woman: renting out her holes and social media addiction.

She is a long time bay area resident, who moved to Austin when it was part of the trend and is moving back, likely because ahe doesnt fit in the Austin scene as well.
Have you ever been to Austin? It’s not like the rest of Texas at all. You sound like you have some ridiculous stereotype of the South and you think Austin is like that.

I know you aren’t from the Bay either because you call it “San Fran”. You cant find a nice modern studio at $850 in Austin proper. Let alone the bay. If you know of places please post them as people would love to know about these magical nice places in decent locations in the bay for less than 1000. Lol.

SF is where she started escorting and made her nut. More high income tech simps, more people into poly and orgies ( Austin scene for lesswrong is less into that).

Also a million gorgeous interesting girls? Pressing X on that one too. At least not single ones. The dating scene in the Bay skews heavily male, because tech, and competition is fierce. The dating scene is notoriously bad for men. It’s a driver of why poly is more popular because it allows more men to access sex with females while being less competitive as a partner.

Edit: when i say “more popular” i meant poly is more popular in the Lesswrong community in the bay, vs less wrong in Austin.

... Texas, New York and very recently the area in question. Have *you* been to Austin recently? Thinking its still a super-blue haven that isn't touched by conservatives when that hasn't been true for 5+ years and the belief that you need $2500 for a studio in the bay area - that's the stereotype. But it's w/e because I was well aware people were going to insist they know all about where they haven't actually lived. Also saying I'm not from the bay area because I call it San Fran is just ???? Lol okay...? That's more proof that you don't know what you're talking about... claiming people NEVER say this or that in a certain area is just silly. I kinda knew posting here would turn on me eventually because I'm talking real world experience, not what everyone says on reddit.

It's cool, though. It's good to not be believed in this circumstance when it comes to where I live/lived lol

I'm sorry, are you guys real life? Being poly and all that is still 100% not normal in the area? Y'all follow weirdos way too much and think the whole city is just Aella type people? Of course there's beautiful, interesting women in California. It's like y'all live in some weirdo land where nothing that's actually true in real life resonates. I'm definitely scared away by the people foaming at the mouth here

Ironically, there absolutely is an older form of this across many cultures. So much for new moral tech I guess.

Kinda being a libertarian sometimes. I just wanted to lower taxes and stuff, but I get lumped in with these degens.
Same. I just want to keep the money I earn and not get arrested for telling jokes but instead I’m lumped in with perverts who are like, “maybe the smart and sexy kids can consent?”

I wish they’d all troon out and fuck off :(

where I live/lived
Ohhh I get it now. You're old as fuck and don't realize that the prices have gone up since you lived there for a year or two in the mid nineties. Explains the San Fran thing too. Old people love to call it San Fran.

Also, on the subject of Aella, those survey questions are atrocious. @ghjoigcbn what was the context for "current state" or was there any?

Introduction to the survey
Enlightenment (and related things)
This is for anyone who's experienced enlightenment, awakening, stream entry, or anything related to these things.

I'm going to use words that you might not consider quite right. I'm trying to be precise as possible, but due to the nature of this topic it's not going to be perfect. Some people consider their positions as 'states', others as 'modes', still others as 'non-states', 'realizations,' or 'locations.' I'm going to use generalized terms in this survey (such as simply 'states' or the word 'enlightenment'); I know this isn't exactly right but please bear with me and go with the spirit of the question.

Your answers are anonymous but the full data, including your fill-in-text responses, will be publicly visible at the end of the survey.
Here is a link to the survey.

Based on the types of states listed, most if which I've never heard of, im guessing this is mainly for people who have tripped on DMT or ayahuasca and are now totally awakened, man.

There are not any options for any traditional religions that someone could have joined due to their spiritual awakening. . .

If God is real why does He punish the wicked? Not very effective aulturist of Him.

Double edit: Just now picked up on 'The versions of Christianity popular in the United States that believe in hell'. What the hell is this bitch talking about?

Why doesn't Satan make Hell better to show God's folly? Satan isn't worse for trying to tempt people to enjoy that permanent infinite torture he oversees when he simply could not? God offers a chance to avoid it, Satan encourages you to experience it. Satan, in this version, seems to adhere even more to the idea of Original Sin and wants to deny redemption as many as possible. Shouldn't we assume that his rebellion was possibly because God offered the redemption?

The real infohazard Basilisk is knowing of Aella getting you dragged into her thread, like the Yudd thread isn't enough of a mine field of revolting people having horrible sex.

My contribution is that I've come to consider that religion, specifically Christianity, in the old days wasn't about keeping the peasants in line as popular conception has it. It was a safeguard against bored socialites distributing pamphlets titled "A Treastie on the Rationalist Argument on The Knowing of Canines and Horse". Farmers would just throw you in a bog for that.

Another postrationalist I forgot is Chaos/Chaosprime. I forgot he existed until I checked Twitter to verify this. His posts are jokes but they're always just mildly funny; my friends call this stuff hehcore.
This man has been outed as a child rapist: https://twitter.com/mimi10v3/status/1737273351016525986

I don't know his name or have the case, but people who do say he raped his 9 year old stepdaughter when he was in his 20s: https://twitter.com/HProggy/status/1737434000942063878

We all know where she is going with this right?

After the results come out the way she wants them, because of the way she’s asking the question, she is likely going to use it as fodder for her hot takes regarding the latest AI scandal.

For those unaware it recently came to light that a large data training set contained CSAM. Because of this congress is being called upon to prohibit AI generated CSAM. Article here https://www.theverge.com/2023/12/20...ai-image-laion-csam-google-stability-stanford

Now she seems to be trying to gather “research” so she can act like she’s some kind if expert and not a random psycho. At least that’s my read on the situation.
