What a fucking idiot. 6000+ people in the industry, approximately 4 times the annual revenue of games workshop and twice the profit. This is the Ur example of an idiot city dweller who has no idea where food comes from. And that's just the fisheries themselves. The wider industry employs tens of thousands.

Redditors see life as a marvel movie, with a clear defined "good vs bad", they can't imagine that some people didn't have a choice as it was a fucking war and if you lived in the south you were probably going to fight for the south. Slaves weren't owned on a large scale in my area but they still fought for the confederate side because they kind of had to. The redditor doesn't care though, they don't care about individuals. They will spit on someones grave for being "on the bad guys side" and not give two fucks about who that person was and the circumstances of their life.
Funny how that smug-ass "yet you participate in society" deflection is absolutely nowhere in fucking sight here. You can't even restrain yourselves from buying things off Amazon despite believing Jeff Bezos is the devil, you can't restrain yourself from buying a new iPhone every year despite knowing exactly how it was made, yet you demand your ancestor resist forced conscription and abandon his family, his community, and everything he's ever known for a political disagreement? Give me a fucking break. Thank them for the fat, overfed life you now enjoy thanks to their sacrifices and keep your impotent judgements to yourselves, you spineless sniveling little backbiting vermin.

A little expansion on this, they are retards. They compare Games-workshop Revenue to Fishing Profit. As I said they are retards.

To be honest people see everything as good vs evil in hindsight because history is written with a bias. Its like how people have a nostalgia bias for the past was always better, even if its objectively true in current day context. The problem being there is actually a clear defined good vs bad but its on an individual action level, not on a systemic level and if youre living through a situation, chances are said situation is much more morally complex than it seems. Predditors are very small brained and hive minded, so they dont think beyond what information is being fed to them, theyre not willing to consider wider context or different perspectives, theyre too short sighted, they dont want to think ahead of the curve and they are the consequences of a shitty internet. So stuff like the Lincoln Dictatorship, Democrat Corruption, Nazi Soviet Pact, the Japanese American Legion, French Foreign Legion, Israel Palestine, French Nazi Associations, Ukrainian Nazi Legion, Soviet Infiltration, the Cold War and other complex topics just fly over their heads, they dont get em. If anything the Natives were the real losers of the Civil War, a section of them may have been savage but they were mostly peaceful and were screwed over by both Red and Blue.

Veiled transphobia at work, feeling unsafe and not sure what to do

Hey!
I tried posting in a different sub as well but I think it didn't go through because of my throwaway account. I'm using a throw away because my real one ties to my work. I hope it works here, I could really use some advice.
I'm in a weird situation. A new colleague joined and he refuses to use my pronouns or even my name. Instead, he refers to me as "my esteemed colleague". I confronted him politely and just said something like "you are my colleague and I hold you in esteem hence my esteemed colleague".
It's bs, I can tell he's just a transphobic pos he calls others by their names. I'm the only trans woman in the office and it's really making me uncomfortable.
I even spoke to HR about this but they said they can't do anything because "my esteemed colleague" is apparently not discriminatory.
It's genuinely uncomfortable working with him because of this. It really gives me the creeps and makes me feel dehumanised.
What can I do in this situation?
My esteemed colleague. LOL. Also, who the fuck would tie a Reddit account to their place of employment? Oh, right, a troon.

It sounds like the guy DOESNT want to be insulting, might be a little confused how to approach the whole pronoun thing, and as such, has chosen a neutral yet respectful term.
