Rockwell was a carny who couldn't gain mass appeal at a time when:
- segregationism was mainstream
- George Wallace was one of the most powerful politicians in America
- both parties claimed to support State's Rights
- Southern newspapers attacked the Civil Rights Movement daily
- pastors condemned interracial dating from their pulpits
- MLK was widely hated.
- the neocons did not exist and nobody cared if you criticized Israel

He helped push any discussion of race into the lunatic fringe and Mike Enoch's little cult repeated the mistake.

The ultimate problem of looking back at past figures is 1.) They failed 2.) To the extent they had success, do you not think in the decades since, the system has adapted to whatever they did that worked?
Also hearing this post-mortem shit is obnoxious. The time to take a step back and figure this shit out was before you set up a political party for that stuff, not after it imploded. It also doesn't help that there have been people saying the exact same shit that was in mcnabb's statement and to some degree what the Baloghs said in their video for years, and they were driven off, told to shut up, all that.

He wasn't successful, that's true. He didn't had the benefit of hindsight, and really wanted to get a marketing hook first. Later WN groups can't say that they didn't knew this tactic won't work without just being ignorant of the past. It turns out there is such thing as bad publicity.

The problem is that, normalfags just expected the status quo to go on forever (because everybody thinks so) so Activist types and the state got a blank check to do whatever they wanted. All the things you have mentioned came out to be null and void. I am not defending Rockwell here, he lacked the insight, resources etc to actually make it count- Of course I think being a "national socialist" was a totally bad move. It's basically an alien idea that was rooted in the particular things and movements of Germany.

Man, this is perhaps the most important line ever. The system is not static. You can't bring 50-100 year old strategies against it and expect not to be BTFO.

McNabb and the type of people like him are one of the problems. This absolute moron used his real name, his real face, and would brag constantly that no one has come after him and no one can touch him because his job was super secure. He wasn't "doxxed" when everyone else was either in a sense that no one came after him but he kept running his mouth. Then when it finally happened, he smuckled the entire time and got on the TRS dole.

He now LARPs as a contributer to TRS and complaining about how he's going to feed his 3 kids if people stop subbing due to Strike and Mike being removed.

Combine this with his generally other bad takes such as opposition to Christianity, calling people incels for not wanting to date undesirable women, and mocking of anti-vaxxers, His manner of dress looks very alien in a WN movement (and even in the 1.0 punk scenes would have been ridiculed) and his general demeanor of derailing analysis to bring it back to his personal interests and you have someone so insufferable to the general public that he alone could torpedo your chances at growing a local community.

McNabb is everything wrong about a WN movement minus not being a faggot or a cuck, so it's hard for me to take his essay seriously.

I know Alex is a grugg. But he was the only TRS member to have a chat years ago and was not triggered by emojis and criticism (too much)
He makes good points, but he fails to take any responsibility for their own mismanaged project.
His attempt to open up a serious discussion is good, but because of how spergy the audience is, it's also pointless to actually discuss it.

I remember when the hosts of the Fatherland would make fun of McNabb and openly wonder why he was even on the Death Panel. That was around the time Borzoi was their spergy intern. All of the shows that made the network great have left and not only has TRS failed to retain talent, they have failed to bring in any new, genuinely entertaining broadcasters. Instead, the most annoying personalities from the early era have been promoted. They have a track record of terrible business decisions which goes beyond the latest NJP drama. They aren't coming back from this. McNabb's writing an essay about WN as if he's an influencer. Who is influenced by McNabb?

A bunch of guys on the fedi are upset about Sven's appearance on Rand's stream tonight. Apparently he's just talking shit about the NJP. Says it never reached 600 members and it was all a waste of time because Jews still control everything. I'm not watching it, but maybe I'll gather some clips that people on the fedi upload later and post them here if they're relevant. Maybe not, though, because all of this is really just making me angry at this point. Should probably take a break from giving it any attention.
