Sony hate thread

Like that faggot who posted a picture of his portal while his wife was shopping.
Isn't it a common stereotype that women love shopping and men hate it? You can hardly blame the guy in that instance, you don't need to be connected at the hip. Though I suspect he neglects his wife a lot in general, and he'll be surprised when she cheats on him.

Depends on the store. MOST men just get what they need and get the hell out, but if they're in a place they like, they will hang there for a bit

e.g. Home Depot if you're the kind of guy that likes to build/fix shit.

It's not about gaming for them. It's just exhibitionism. They want people to notice them playing a game. They sit near people on the bus or at the airport and make sure that you see that they are playing Skyrim. Like those faggots that talk on their phones loudly on speaker in public places. Or niggers and spics that blast music from their shitbox cars at all hours. "Notice me!".

They take more pictures and selfies playing a game in public than actually playing the game. Like how every single faggot who is coming out of surgery who owns a Steam Deck makes sure to spam their post tit zippering surgeries on reddit. Instead of actually just playing games in private like the device is allegedly supposed to be used for.

These are no longer gaming devices. They are virtue signalling and brand clout chasing devices to show your loyalty to Sony, Valve, or Nintendo, or whatever. "I purchased the latest dogshit Deck/Portable device!". None of these people are hardcore game players. You will not find them playing competitive shooters or fighting games or anything like that. They are just there to take their faggot culture and infect gaming with it.
If they're gonna play in public, I'm gonna laugh when their device gets stolen. You deserve that you closeted exhibitionists.
Show me where the fictional titty girls hurt you, my ignorant friend.

I dunno why this mobile game triggers you in particular, and not the rest I listed.
My brother in Christ, all the characters in BA are 16-17 years old. Not a single character is around 18-21.

I'm confused as to how he's playing the game in his car in the last pic. I thought the PS Portal only worked if you're connected to wifi and you had to be close to your PS5 in order to play your games on it?

He could be using his phone as a Wi-Fi Hotspot, and some cars (not sure about Nissan), offer 4G or 5G data plans with a subscription.

I thought this was a streaming only device, how is he playing this in his car? Is the PS5 hooked up in the back or something?
Streaming via phone hotspot probably. Its not a guaranteed experience because the ps5 at home has problems with entering sleep mode during remote play so if that happens the portal has nothing to connect to. So it only looks good on paper until you encounter one of the problems that are bound to happen. But you will never hear about the problems from biased sources, just the benefits.

This video for instance has been kicked around online a bit. The plane he is on has starlink for Internet which is how he is even playing because the lack of a web browser to do the initial WiFi setup would prevent using the portal in any other plane without starlink.

Okay, so they're going through Playstation Now or something along those lines. Because I thought this required the PS5.

As far as I'm aware it is streaming from their ps5 at home over the Internet. You don't necessarily have to be at home on the same WiFi router, you just can't guarantee the quality if you are connecting to your home ps5 outside of the same connection. The PS portal does not have the capability yet to to stream directly from PlayStation's streaming servers.
Some of the less biased reviews I've seen of it show stuttering, loading issues and lag using the PS portal away from home. For a short few second tik took it looks great and sells a false bill of goods, for any critical view it isn't the rosy picture its pretending to be unless its in extremely specific circumstances.

I can support that. Every time I go to Microcenter I have a hard time making myself leave. Meanwhile if I were dragged to a clothing store I'd want to leave immediately.

I'll admit that it's a cool-looking form factor, but why the hell would anyone buy a streaming-only device, that too, one that doesn't stream unless you have a PS5 already working? If this thing were like the Steam Deck or Switch it would actually be useful. God I hate everything being streaming now.

Apparently the UK TOS was just updated, no more trading games at GameStop anymore and no more selling on eBay. Sony needs to give you permission first.

Men hate shopping, sure. It's a bit of a stereotype but normal men will find a shop/store in the shopping centre/mall to go have a wander around in or enjoy watching their bird try on clothes. Only manchildren will sit and play vidya and neglect their other half.

iirc they had this anti-reselling line for YEARS on European (or, at least, Russian) discs.
I don't think this bullshit is enforceable, but hey look: they fight against their early selling point of PS4!

Dumb question, but what happens if you resell anyway? They arrest you? What happens if you directly contact someone to sell the disc?
Who knows. Best Sony can do is rescind your access to your PlayStation account as punishment I guess unless they can get a government to act as an enforcement arm on their behalf. They might try to get third parties like eBay or GameStop to stop taking in listings or trades for PlayStation games. That's probably as far as they can legally take it.

It's still unsurprisingly Orwellian

That still doesn't explain why this mobile game in particular triggers you this much, and not the other ones I listed earlier, or even Japanese console games in general for the matter. Besides getting your facts likely wrong, why are you this obsessively fixated on the age of fictional characters from a light-hearted (and over-simplified) RTS game with a 10 out of 10 soundtrack featuring battle nuns, cool-looking antagonists, mecha, USSR parody, knockoff power rangers, etc.

But I saw one of your recent posts and you sincerely believe an anime movie portraying romance between two teenager characters is "pedo-friendly".

Has America gone this psychotic to create deranged virtue-signaling individuals like you?
No wonder the game industry went to shit.

Weebshits will prefer anything from Japan than in the west. He could get mad at an Adam Sandler movie like 50 First Dates then turn around and turn around by liking Komi San, when they're the exact same plot and writing.

Everyone knows that even most of anime is also pedo-friendly, especially its fandom (see also shit like Danganronpa, Persona, MHA, etc.)
