is there any reason you are aware of why he seems to be going harder than usual this time? is this some sort of last ditch effort on his part or is it just good timing that he started up at the same time that cogent did?
It could be that they got served, or Kermit is facing some sort of problem like his eyesight rapidly getting worse or losing respect in his community. Id say it could be he's running out of money, but of he wasn't before he is now. I would like to know, but if its legal based null may not be at liberty to say anything that might impede the case.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cogent has offered some of its copious Tier 1 bandwidth to assist LFJ's cause. Dave Schaeffer seems nearly as keen to shut down the Farms as No-Dong.

This Schaeffer fellow's either a die-hard "ally", or he has as much dirt as Frog-Jones and doesn't want us to discover and collate it (assuming Frog hasn't used said dirt as blackmail to rope him in).

@Null,

Why haven't you pursued legal action against Jones yourself? You must be able to get something-harassment? Business sabotage? I don't know the technical details-but surely you could go on the legal offensive here?
How much money do you have? Maybe you should give it to him because litigation costs lots of fucking money you dumbass.

I ask, because its clear the troon is not going to stop, and playing defense forever is a losing strategy.

I'd say defense IS a winning strategy, we all know trannies have an expiration date. Only a matter of time before dong-gone acks himself.
Yeah, he tried to take the site down last year and failed, hear trying now and it's still up, he'll try again and again until he gets tired of trying to stop the truth from coming out. And every year it gets harder as public favor moves against him. The Jews are making moves to align with the Republicans and with them support for the LGBT will go away.

In addition to litigation being expensive and LFJ having a bigger war chest, the discovery process carries some potential risks for the site, such as giving them a complete list of vendors and supporters to harass.
As of September, he was seeking assistance in locating counsel/attorneys on the west coast experienced in litigation involving the internet and business tort. If he was making progress on that it would be advisable for him to not tell anyone until the first formal public filing is made.

That is to say, if he's working on it he's working on it, if he's not he's not. He has never posted anything indicating he has dropped the idea, so I am holding out hope. If there was ever an active lawsuit, it could potentially set legal precedent related to internet rights and censorship and enter into the public caselaw that business attorneys are usually so careful to adhere to, so I'm sure we could kick up a big funding drive.

It's a slim chance, but the EFF and *possibly* other civil rights organizations might be willing to sign on as a "friend of the court" (writing letters/arguments on behalf of KF's case basically, for the judge(s) to read) or even go so far as providing/funding one of their own attorneys to help work on the case - depends on the case details and how broad the application might be. If the case details and potential rulings would too narrowly benefit KF only, they might choose to stay out of it. But we'll see.

Given the EFF's track record with support for the Farms, I think it's more likely they'll just try to get it on record that we are controversial racist nazi transphobes so they can point at this as a fact-check in the future to justify ignoring us while we are illegally sodomized, and then dip at the first opportunity they could actually contribute.

If you think said gofundme wouldn't instantly be shut down / money seized, you haven't been paying attention.
I have been paying attention for years - even well before I registered this account. I want to be clear that I didn't say anything about using a third-party funding collection service and was very careful not to say such as I wasn't even thinking it - I even just double-checked because you had me doubting that I didn't make a typo.

I meant spreading the crypto links around and Josh's check mailing address (didn't he say he could start accepting them again, or did his bank account get closed down again?) and basically casting the net far and wide to various internet-libertarians and libertarian-minded rights orgs.

There are various orgs that will support court cases "on principle" even if they hate the complainant or respondents involved. The ACLU has sided with the NRA-ILA on occasion despite the vast majority of ACLU staff being against individual gun ownership rights (their official platform is that the 2A is a "community right" and all the limitations that implies), and they have also sided with the "distasteful" side of free-speech cases before as well.

The EFF has also published in support of KF's right to exist as a US-legal website (without explicitly naming the farms, I believe, but they published during the height of the news cycle on KF).

I think the EFF is concerned that their funding sources might be threatened if they are too blatant, which is why I projected that even if they decided to get involved in a case involving KF, it might only be to file an amicus brief.
