Such a shame It ended on an interesting cliffhanger at the end of season 2 we'll never find out more of. Absolutely loved the visual design of the show too.

The animation was so fucking good. And contrary to common belief, it was mostly frame by frame.
The sad thing is that he pitched plenty of original projects, all rejected because company would rather take the safe route of re-adapting old successful ips.

Kind of agree. I like Amphibia, will happily stand up for it as an actual good show and even defend its refusal to go all in on the consequences since it is a children's programme. But unfortunately the combo involved makes me think we're going to get the worst of both not the best.
Speaking of best I was looking up some Amphibia stuff on Youtube and turns out the default result for Amphibia when typing it in was the "can you miss someone you never knew" chat. Don't think that is my personal searches either.
Similar to the endings for the first two seasons it's one of the points when they actually nail the emotional side without too much dialogue and using the actual character reactions instead.

So idk if this is old news or what, but a very small twitter account has tried to "expose" Alex Hirsch for going after 18 year olds as a 28 year old man and racism, but most importantly is that this person has leaked some personal info in regards to his emails and the accounts he owns, namely adult sites and whatever else.
I'm not sure what could be ascertained by this, but the only reason I know about this is because soyteens made a thread on /raid/ talking about it.

As for the Foster’s project, I am honestly not that put off. Fosters always felt the tamest of CN’s IP. Maybe it was the art style, but something about it made it seem closer to preschool series than the others. Speaking on the idea, having a world where imagination can become reality is a great backdrop to an educational series.
Cartoonito seems surprisingly solid for its age demographic. Even dumb ideas like Batwheels are high quality, so I am going in optimistic that it will be a solid show for its intended demographic if nothing else. The only worrying part is that it might be in CGI.
Probably never. Most big booms come from new companies entering the field. The 90s had Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network along with a host of other networks. The 2000s had Pixar, DreamWorks, Blue Sky, and a few others. New companies that are either unowned or given a ton of freedom as they are not as integrated is what the industry needs. It is either that or an industry turnover with a complete overhaul to management like late 80s-90s Disney underwent.

Remember, any time you see some soulless wokeshit reboot of an old franchise, or some horrible new wokeshit, that's an actually decent franchise that never got to be born. Weird, last time I popped in this thread there was someone outing Hirsch for having a pissbucket in his office while making Gravity Falls. It was another throwaway Twitter account (the same one likely). I guess they don't teach opsec at CalArts. I also guess some troon really wanted Dipper and Pacifica to end up together, or something. I wonder what will await me here next month.
