Who the fuck is excited for Tekken? I didn't even know the series was still alive. I'd be willing to bet that the only people who buy and play it will be extremely skilled at the series, so I expect this to be a faster quit than MK1.
Anything out of street fighter IP has a shelf life of two weeks on average in fighting genre games. He stalls offline for one week, then rages for another then quits because he's always stuck at scrub. Tekken also doesn't have a massively large autistic fanbase to milk by comparison to its genre IP peers, but if you play Tekken, you're already moving toward the serious end of the genre of games spectrum, one of the reasons fans of the genre who are detractors froth at the mouth at the idea of a pigroach hoove smashing his fight controller during Samurai Showdown or any of it's series entries.

I completely agree, and even if you disregard the fact that BG3 has 4k viewers, Dave's way of running his "business" fundamentally doesn't work.
First of all, any new potential dent is introduced to a 24h cooldown after they've actually pressed subscribe, most people want to comment on something fun happening as they're there, so having this cooldown is just retarded if he actually wants new people to show up.
Second, after the 24h cooldown have weeded out the non-dents, they are then told by a angry Dave that they should only talk about him and the game he's currently playing, unless you're donating to say some stupid shit about another game he has in his rotation. Yeah, that's super fun, I would totally wanna stick around where the main topic is a smelly retard and a game he's playing badly.
I guess if a dent somehow made it through the first two steps without getting yelled at and banned, the third step is an almost sure-fire way to get sent to ban-world, Dave just has a fuckton of banned phrases that any person not familiar with the lore of the piggy is going to look at and probably be dumb-founded. To top it off with something that is a somewhat recent way of getting banned, you also can't ask why someone in the chat got banned, because then you too, will get banned.
Over all, I'd say Dave needs to work some miracles in order to get new retards to show up and actually participate in his god-awful content.
I like when he plays Tekken because he dusts off the "this character doesn't play anything like a Tekken character!!" every time he gets bodied by one of the cute girl characters and it's great.
My personal favorite is when he gets hit by a juggle that takes off 40% of his health then starts crying about how Tekken was never about juggles or big khambos. I've played the shit out of Tekken 3 and the only difference between its combos and the ones in the newer games (especially 6 onwards) is the number of hits you have to do, in Tekken 3 that'd be 3-5 hits depending on the character or the khambo while in 6 onwards you'd need 6+ hits for a big damage Khambo. I mained Lei since Tekken 3 and in that game he can get a 50+ damage combo off of his busted ass b+1 punch. It is a frame perfect combo but shaving off over 1/3 of the opponent's healthbar with ONE JAB is insane. But remember, the series was never about big khambos.
The only thing he got correct was when he bitched about 7 having a shit neutral game but that's a case of the broken clock being right only twice a day more than anything else given that he bitched about everything he possibly could while he was getting his ass clapped in 7. He probably can't even explain why 7's neutral is shit even though you'd only need 2 words to make the case.
Weren't a lot of his viewers for the BG3 prestream botted anyway? Someone posted a video of the viewer count going down by 400-500 in a very short span. And the way Phail talked about it the next day, it seemed like he knew and was trying to explain why so many people were there.

No, those numbers don't really line up. I'm leaning more and more towards Dave being botted during the stream. He didn't just pull double the viewers, he's usually around 400-500, so he pulled more than 3 times his usual numbers, and if we look at Meerkat's social blade...
... we can see within 24 hours a stream with around ~61.5%, not even close to ~33% or less. We should see something north of 20k views here if we want to say "oh restreamers got the same push"
So that leaves us with a couple of option
(1) DSP has a lot more lurker fans than we like to admit, and the lurker fans outweigh the lurker detractors
(2) Dentractors are real and too stupid to figure out re-streams and are part of his 'fanbase', even if ironically (certainly true to some extent)
(3) he got botted.

-I do believe that Phil has been watching Detractor content lately, especially Doody. If you notice, he's been attempting to squash the theories they've been putting out. A lot of people were pointing out that he was going to get his ass stomped in Fightcade by no-lifers in those games. They've also been pointing out all the SF6 rage and snoozefest yakuza and robocop streams. I also think this is part of the whole BG3 fiasco. He's trying to get a gauge on how many total people were watching his restream and the narratives to nip them in the bud. He's probably drinking gin, pretending to watch Kat play games, pulling hogans in wwe champions, and listening to detractors in his free time lately.

I think clothes in my closet is totally right, listening to DSP lately really reminds me of how my schizophrenic family members talk when they're off their meds. It's this indescribable wrongess of their mannerisms, speech and topics of conversation.
Can we talk about his weird facial micro ticks for a moment? His ear wiggling aside which I think has happended for a while they've just become quite noticable, his right eye has begun twitching and blinking out of sync with his other eye. His lips behave likes hes had a minor stroke, one side twitches, his right side dropes, it won't pull back in sync with the other side when he smiles. These weird twitches are increasing in amount and duration. It would not surprise me if he has had one or a few mini strokes.
But this combination of weird micro facial movements combined with how he talks is beginning to sound like unmedicated schizopherenia I really think he has given himself a serious mental illness due to his hermet lifestyle. You're underselling how funny the SF6 stream was. He started at 1357MR. Actually went on a bit of a tear in the first half of the stream and broke 1.4k MR, then it all went downhill and he ended at 1357MR, piggy made zero progress.
