Total Retard War: Lessons of War - Taking the tactics of Honeycomb.io's Field CTO Liz Fong-Jones and making them available to everyone.

I want to be honest here: I think that gayop idea about improving public image of Kiwi Farms is optimistic at best and autistic at worst.
Anti-farmers can just begin a witch hunt on all youtubers who DARE to namedrop the forum, let alone call it "good". This would make "outsiders" scared of the forum, while also making "insiders" extremely vulnerable to "calling out".
I think you'd be surprised. I did notice Ruben Sim looking at this page a couple hours ago. I'd keep watch on him.
Well, at this point, you miss every shot you don't take.

My main point is I can't spare any time to really help it but if @CrunkLord420 wants to put time in getting Hugo templating up, I can get it online and shill it and help with any questions. If the community really wants to help collectively, this is a pretty accessible way to do it.
I would request a dedicated page
/ board for a war room, preferably hidden from guests. Some place to gather loads of information, sift through it, exchange notes, exchange archives, and write the articles.

Why do we have to prove that he's alive? Stating the fact that they have zero proof of his suicide should be enough to dispell any doubts. They made the allegation, so they have the burden of proof.
It goes further than that. "byuu" is not a person, it's an internet persona. It's utterly insane that alleged journalistic entities reported on the death of a internet handle with as much authority as if it were a verifiable person. They could not even have proof of his suicide without knowing the real person, nor can anyone prove it false (even if a KF finds the person behind the name it's wholly deniable by anyone who wants to believe otherwise). It's mythology reported as fact. Very useful.

Hidden from newer members too. They've gotta be active to see it, if possible.

Right now ms. Butt Legal is trying to get journalist scoops by trying to get others to do the work on a pseudo anonymous gossip site. It might just become a successful gossip site by virtue of not allowing words which were allowable in the eyes of the GNAA.
Everybody, come quick! We’ve discovered the solution to censorship: Just never say anything controversial.

I think we need a group of people making info-graphic style images. Just a single image that brutally deboonks lies with hard evidence. It could also cover things like how Cogent is censoring the net or whatever else benefits us and or makes trannies seethe. We know what's what but 'we' are pretty small. People that don't use the site or follow Null aren't going to bother fact checking things on their own. This wouldn't stop the media from lying but it would boost kiwi morale and bring more people to our side. Instead of linking to a huge thread and expecting normies to read the evidence themselves people can just post the image when someone needs re-education. This makes the anti-disinformation process much more spreadable. I think it'd be funny if journos who lie about us get their xitter feed clogged with infographics exposing their BS.

Most things people say about kiwifarms is a lie but there's little to no effort to counter that which has allowed this boogie man narrative to spiral out of control.

I'm talking about this kind of image btw. Big text, maybe some images, and nothing but scientific facts. Tons of icons can be found for free or even made with AI nowadays. It should probably have no obvious affiliation with kiwifarms so people don't get scared off before they look at it but that's just my opinion.

Alright. I've generated/created several profile photos and put together identities to match. Here's my batshit insane, borderline retarded, but just-might-work plan to create a Kiwi Farms propaganda machine.

Note: Move this to a logged-in only thread, once a dedicated thread is created.

First of all, rule number one. We cannot create a site that's just "Kiwifarms Allegations Debunked/Kiwi Farms good (by Kiwi Farms)". The public at large, after the extensive media courage, believes we are untrustable, indefensible monsters. Anything we put out directly in our name, no matter how airtight or innocuous, will not be received well or at all. People will take one look, see that we're the ones who published it, and move on. If we want to have any hope of spreading successful propaganda and priming people to think differently about us, we'll need to create a network of supposedly unaffiliated/loosely affiliated personas. Our news blog, our influencers, and everything else will need to just loosely tie back to us. Everyone has potential claims on the table of being Farms users so if anyone gets suspicious we can dispel it as just "they lurk here" rather than "we made up a propaganda persona", but nobody can be out there with the sole purpose of pacifying us. And so, I've created those personas.

Remember, this is about one thing: controlling the narrative. Our enemies are playing dirty, so we have to play dirty. We can't win with logic alone.

The Journos
Our news blog will be a startup composed of 3 personas, based around "insane stories from internet and tech". It's the kind of thing your dad would read, surface level stuff (outside of the Farms coverage.) It has an "about us" page giving an inspiring but believable story about how the three writers had been friends and just saved up enough money to buy office space and launch their journalism startup. It gives the whole thing character, but not enough where anyone will look into it further.

Journo 1: Gavin Letterman (age 32)
1703119976468.png
Gavin seems like he'll be best played by Crunk and Welper alone. He's the only member of the site with an open connection to Kiwi Farms, claiming to work informally with "the management". He's the reason the site likes to have so many articles about us. He runs the site's contact e-mail, and he runs both the site's Xitter and a personal Xitter (he's the only one of the three journos with a personal Xitter.) Whenever someone here does something obviously reprehensible, or whenever we're baselessly pinned to that, he should complain on Xitter about how he's frustrated by it and how we don't condone it. He is charismatic and articulate. He writes exclusively about Kiwi Farms.

For the other two journos, we'll have two teams of 3-5 people between them. One of the teams will write more articles about Kiwi Farms, and the other team will write articles about the broader internet - other internet drama, updates in the tech world, et cetera. The surface level stuff. Headlines will be brainstormed in a dedicated thread by the forum at large.

Journo 2: Dave Garfield (age 51)
1703120399926.png
He's the dad type. Outside of articles about Kiwi Farms, he's mostly interested in the tech world.

Journo 3: Ryanne Thomas (age 47)
1703120462494.png
Mom in a mid life crisis. Least interested in Kiwi Farms but still covers it intermittently. Writes about internet drama and "how to stay relevant".

The Influencers
Our influencers, above everything else, need to seem organic. We can't give a sense of "they're making propaganda" - they should just come off as any ordinary establishment Youtuber to any normies that find their videos. Also, by their nature, we'll need one dedicated person to voice their content and portray them. Any user who takes up an individual influencer role should be willing to stick with it for the long haul.

We'll also need a small team willing and able to create eye-catching thumbnails and titles across all the channels, as well as doing other branding work.

The Big Three
These three influencers all run broad "internet culture" explainer channels (think Strange Aeons, WavyWebSurf, TheGamerFromMars, etc.) They talk about controversies, drama, and good deeds across platforms like 4chan, Tumblr, Reddit, and of course, Kiwi Farms. All 3 will eventually gravitate toward mainly covering Kiwi Farms (citing algorithm/retention bullshit), but should all start with diverse content.

Big Three 1: Lukas Mahan
1703121205142.png
Active on Youtube, TikTok, and Xitter. Needs decent production values, content aimed at a broader audience. Enlightened type from the Midwest. Should start first with hard-hitting videos, which will help make talking about us seem like a slightly more natural trend. He's who we use to target left-leaning normies.

Big Three 2: Wicked Web Savvy (Jack Timberland)
1703121434847.png
Active on Youtube and Xitter. Tech bro from Boston. Big personality, sarcastic humor, and makes content aimed at a slightly narrower tech-interested audience. More "relatable" and talks about his personal life sometimes; feel free to plan as you go, just keep it consistent. Similar to Lukas, he targets right-leaning normies.

Big Three 3: The Lurker (Jake Denver)
1703121823538.png
Active on Youtube only. Low-production Leafy-esque commentator over game footage. Reads greentexts, talks about 4chan bullshit, and of course talks about reprehensible people Kiwi Farms has stopped. Targets the 18-26 enlightened centrist audience which tends not to watch content akin to the above two. Openly follows our news blog and sometimes uses/links it as a source.

The Other Two
Influencers less directly attached to Kiwi Farms, intended to accomplish very specific goals that nobody who even remotely aligns themselves with us would be able to.

The Wikipedia Guy (Andrew Mitchell)
1703122148828.png
Youtube only, basic production. Covers Wikipedia controversies - vandalism, and eventually moderator abuse and powermods. Eventually, after building an audience, he covers the Kiwi Farms Wikipedia page, and all the bullshit surrounding it - in a collaboration with The Lurker, who crossposts the video and who he links to in the description. After this video, he can gradually and smoothly transition into being another one of the Big Three-esque tubers.

Internet Horrors (Craig Lee)
1703122484601.png
This is the big one. Youtube, TikTok, Xitter. Makes content discussing internet true crime. He needs good production, he needs to gain a large audience, and he needs to gain that audience's trust. Maybe even stage a video where he vents about his depression and takes a brief hiatus. Eventually, when all the cards are in the right place, he makes a video talking about Byuu. In this video, he references Gavin Letterman's article (which will have been out for a while by now) suggesting that Byuu might still be alive. And in this video, he claims that Byuu is still alive. After this, he needs to keep making content unrelated to Kiwi Farms for a couple months, then disappear into the aether.

Finally, while all that gay shit is going on, we'll need whoever's willing to help out there on Xitter and Reddit. Share the news blog's articles, share the videos, share everything.

If we plan further until everything is painfully meticulous, and if we pull this off right, we can give the Farms a reputation as being one of the most honorable and welcoming places on the internet. Craig Lee's video will pave the way for our news blog to start talking about and spinning the controversial shit. And normies will be none the wiser.

Edit: also, literally all of these people need Facebooks (except The Lurker and The Wikipedia Guy), and the journos need Linkedins.

Sorry, but after reading the last 10 pages I can't help but feel this thing is doomed to fail. There's so much fart-huffing I'm half expecting scrums and daily standups to be incorporated soon.

Infographs? AI created authors? Seriously?
It's gonna be almost impossible to get anyone to look at it in the first place. The entire site shouldn't take more than ~15 minutes to read.
What do you even need a board for? Start a group PM, invite people that are interested, pick an article each and set a word limit. Ask if you're having trouble sourcing something or need something proofread.

Random people throwing in bullshit aren't going to get in to the Git. Crunk has a grounded idea of what he wants.

A "from the Kiwi Farms" article site won't work because normies that know about us are already primed to distrust us and just ignore it, and normies that don't know about us won't care.

If you don't remember, Null enacted this exact "articles explaining ourselves logically on a blank website" plan before, back when we were actually off the clearnet. It did jack shit. People who are already biased against us, even slightly, won't respond to facts and logic alone. And right now, a majority of normies who've heard of us in the first place are biased against us.

My plan with journos and influencers is an attempt (though a complicated and autistic one) to use the attention economy to our advantage. If we actually want to improve the Farms' PR, it's going to be a long term plan and it's going to need more than just articles from us, addressed from us, saying "actually we're good". While there's definitely a lot of shit we need to ding out to make it actually viable, I do think a long term plan, not directly attached to us at first glance, and split between an "influencer team" to endear us to younger demographics and a "journo team" to endear us to older demographics, built on careful study of the attention economy, is what will be needed.

Gettin' big Kraut and Tea "Her background will be she's backpacking through europe" vibes here.
You don't need to contrive some elaborate gayop just to write some fucking articles.

one thing to keep in mind is that whatever we come up with is going to be met with insane backlash and censorship even more so than the site itself. so we are going to need to make sure it gets into the hands of people who cannot be attacked so easily.

Have we considered any of the following:
  1. A completely new website and operator that hasn't been debanked and completely blackballed? (sorry Null) Just carry on with a new brand on a new forum and treat KF as an archive in-place. You could reset the clock on a lot of the fuckery that's happened the past few years.
  2. Mass migrating to a non-alt-tech platform like current Xitter? Yeah we'd need to stop saying nigger tranny faggot every 10 seconds but there seems to be plenty of space for gossip communities there now and we could just keep the LFJ truth going indefinitely on a much more difficult to take down target.
  3. Letting them have their win and just retreating to tor for the time being? Like it's not OK what has happened but I expect real legislation or FCC orders to enforce net neutrality and/or backbone-as-a-utility would be required to have a comfortable presence on clearnet, and a temporary win could allow that to come into effect without "oh yeah we'd be letting KiwiFarms exist" being a hurdle.

I highly doubt that any media (even that one you like) would pick this up, but _if_ you want media to pick up your shit you pre-write the entire article as a press release, and put a quick synopsis at the front.
Even more than crooked, media is fucking lazy. If you write the press release they probably won't use the story, but if you don't write it they DEFINITELY won't.

I suggest leaning hard into freeze peach. Nobody will give fucks long enough to understand any of the bullshit to get ANY drama around here.

Byuu's real name was known to kiwifarms and the media. The USA Today article "verified" his death by getting confirmation from his remote employer (or at least an email address claiming to be them).

Also, it's not like the troon brigade isn't watching. They could ruin any gayop by posting screenshots of the posts where the personas are created to their giant audiences.

If we want to crack into the Internet's mainstream, we need politically-correct-enough-to-not-get-banned but not politically-correct-enough-to-swallow-the-girldick e-celebs that are sympathetic to us to talk about us. @NotATurkey, you might be on the high end of that scale but can you help us? Optimistic and retarded, I know... (:_(

It's a bit optimistic to assume that the Current Year government will help, but a retreat to .onion for a while wouldn't be so terrible.

True. Migrating off our own site because of some cube-headed troon's bullshit is a display of profound weakness.
