We literally already did this. We spent 2 months on Tor only in the middle of the year. It's a bit optimistic to assume that the Current Year government will help, but a retreat to .onion for a while wouldn't be so terrible.

this sounds smart. maybe they can go this hard, but maybe not forever without eventually trigger the corporate mechanism to slow down.Cogent's actions probably weren't cleared with their Legal department; putting their lawyers on alert might get someone asking WTF are they doing.
I agree despite having no proof lol. it's the elephant in the room everyone jokes about but there's no meaningful specific information. we won't ever get any either bc this level of subversion is far enough down the rabbit hole that there's a 0% anyone with power will want to know.Someone who glows and may or may not know Janke's dad
Better to die on our feet than live on our kneesTrue. Migrating off our own site because of some cube-headed troon's bullshit is a display of profound weakness.
The Cogent Internet Access Disclosure (A) got brought up earlier as well. This it the document that the FCC's RIFO requires all ISPs to have detailing blocking, throttling, etc. It's not one of those documents that can just say "we do whatever we want fuck you and die." No no no. These are promises that the ISP is making to its customers. See footnote 512 (BIAS stands for Broadband Internet Access Service):I joined because I have not seen anything about RIFO transparency requirements being mentioned. -snip-
I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone with the willingness that Null has to deal with this shit.Have we considered any of the following:
- A completely new website and operator that hasn't been debanked and completely blackballed? (sorry Null) Just carry on with a new brand on a new forum and treat KF as an archive in-place. You could reset the clock on a lot of the fuckery that's happened the past few years
I know, I was lurking on the .onion domain then. Maybe there's some site upgrading or background improvement shit you could do if you didn't have to juggle all the clearnet DNS bullshit on top of it. That's where I was coming from, but I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about anyway. I guess clearnet is your #1 priority. We literally already did this. I will not use KF2, and I will not live in the Xitter pod.Better to die on our feet than live on our knees
He's sacrificing a lot to keep a small forum of absolute retards on the Internet.I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone with the willingness that Null has to deal with this shit.
I greatly simplified our tor backend. When I use tor I get extraordinarily good connectivity now.I know, I was lurking on the .onion domain then. You have hit me with a document I've never seen before and seem to know a lot of specifics. The Cogent Internet Access Disclosure (A) got brought up earlier as well. bro nobody sees the green bar except staff. pic for those wondering what this schizo janny is talking about.Mr. Moon was more hostile than normal to Cogent just to justify Total Retard War banner, because red banner/green site theme is Christmas colors. Most aesthetic free speech battle of the season, very cool.
The mobile experience was surprisingly improved
I meant the default green text, not the staff bar. Not trying to agitate you.bro nobody sees the green bar except staff. pic for those wondering what this schizo janny is talking about.

Who is the victim of Cogent's actions under this regulation, and how and to whom would they report their issue?
Yeah, .onion is a dream to use. It didn't work when I tried to log in today, however. I had to use .hk and I was mad. At least .hk is fast too.I greatly simplified our tor backend. When I use tor I get extraordinarily good connectivity now.
Beautiful.pic for those wondering what this schizo janny is talking about.
Honestly, the red banner meshes really well with the janny bar.I meant the default green text, not the staff bar. Not trying to agitate you.
There are a few posters in KF history who join, make a single extremely good post with domain-specific knowledge that completely changes the course of the thread, and then disappear back into whatever void they came out of. These posters are much better than niggers that reply to things and offer shitty surface-level observations and mediocre humor without contributing anything, such as @Creative Username. He also joined today with 2 posts.
I mean it's possible. It just feels like mana from heaven. Maybe it is. And if so it is wonderful. It certainly warrants investigating to make sure this isn't a wild goose chase, because if true, holy fuck we are in buisness bois. I just wish to be careful, that's allThere are a few posters in KF history who join, make a single extremely good post with domain-specific knowledge that completely changes the course of the thread, and then disappear back into whatever void they came out of. He also might be a lurker that joined to say this, who intends to keep posting. Or maybe a throwaway? I don't know.
It's just information. Null will ask his network of people who actually know what they're doing, do his own research into the matter, or do whatever he does, and he'll take actions based on that. If that guy posted some retarded irrelevant shit, the worst that will happen is a bit of wasted time.I mean it's possible. It just feels like mana from heaven. Maybe it is. And if so it is wonderful. Jihad on all of those.Have we considered any of the following:
I'd rather live on our feet while these fuckers die on THEIR knees.Better to die on our feet than live on our knees
Yeah you're right. I was being a bit paranoid and retarded, so I'm sorryIt's just information. with all the enemies cogent has who knows. maybe someone saw what josh was saying on xitter and felt the need to share some info.I mean it's possible. It just feels like mana from heaven.
