Adult Games General - Because we all know why you play them one-handed.

All I want for an adult game is something where I can customize the characters to my dick's content, queue up a series of animations, then pan and orbit around using wasd+qe while they do their thing.
I think that's the whole premise of Honey Select 1/2, but I never tried them out.

You own a porn studio, you hire the "adult film stars", you shoot film, you distribute it. Choose your scenes and wardrobe carefully! Make profit on coomers! Fight off lawsuits! Don't drive off your actresses by pushing them too hard, and don't keep them after they're too old! Watch out for STD outbreaks!
Honestly, if it were something like a mix between the aforementioned "create a scene" adult games and something like The Movies from Lionhead, I could see that working pretty well. Have it so you could save and export characters and scenes and share them and you'd be able to get a community to profit off of with DLCs or whatever.
So I'm genuinely surprised that no one has reported this to the jannies yet, since, surely, some other curious or titillated gaijin (er, what's the Chinese equivalent of gaijin?) has noticed the slutty anime woman and impenetrable Chinese description and investigated, and then felt an urge to see it removed! I swear, it's like Stellaris modding is two separate ecosystems in one, no geofencing, and if your mod is only in Chinese/Japanese I guess you can do whatever you want? To be clear, I don't really care whether this stays up, it's more that it struck me as humorous that such a thing would persist despite the prudish attitude given towards western mods that don't even include explicit graphics. Laugh at incongruent eastern coomer-modding and incompetent moderation with me.
Gweilo? And yeah, the Stellaris Workshop is pretty hilarious. It's the most accessible of Paradox's titles, and modding is really easy once you figure out it's pretty much all just .txts and .pngs. Some of the Chinese mods you can find are pretty well made stuff, with some slapdash Google Translate (or GPT-translate nowadays) descriptions, but some are pretty wild. I assume most of the janitorial staff there don't speak the language and don't bother trying to verify what's in them. Most of the explicit stuff from Westerners is probably squirreled away on LoversLab or something.

What if it was an open source project that used hacked 3d models?

Open-source might work. I think most money for adult game devs is through donations and subscriptions on Patreon/SubscribeStar, so if you're dedicated enough to keep the project updated and keep an audience paying you, it might work as well or better than a traditional store-front release with a pricetag. Hacked models might be a can of worms, if you mean importing models from other games and all. Probably some IP/copyright troubles there. But if you did the usual CYA of leaving that to the modders and making sure your stuff is all original, you'd probably be fine. Would probably boost the game's popularity without requiring much effort on your part, so long as adding them in/modding the game was easy.

if you could have an open-source framework where you can plug in any animation or model or whatever, you could have developers who make their own models and animations that you pay their patron for and you could download pirated models from elsewhere. The original developer really just needs to make the open source game accept preconfigured models and animations, and the model creation can be handled by a different app.

How hard would it be to take the Godot open source game engine and create an interface for it that makes adding models and animations and running them easy?

There's a game that's not open source but does something like that otherwise called Virt-A-Mate. I think the Illusion games (Honey Select 1 & 2, Koikatsu, probably the others too) come with a "studio" for that but I don't think it has custom anims.

Gentlemen (and the one lady who browses this thread)
Legal notice:
I am of sound mind and body. I will not commit suicide nor do I plan to do so, just in case I get a visit in degeneracy jail. All of these games I cannot confirm nor deny that I played. All inquiries to be directed to your therapists. Thank you.

Let's not waste time, here are tasteful games worth playing:
Monster black market: https://f95zone.to/threads/monster-black-market-v2-0-16-0-dlc-team-apple-pie.124772/

Playable with one hand.

plot: you play as a business entrepreneur who gets a loan to run a morally grey but absolutely illegal monster breeding business. Featuring multiple races of both monsters and women. Your character can have intercourse with said women when he buys a house.
/////////////////////////////////////
ThornSin: https://f95zone.to/threads/thornsin-v0-4-5-scarlet-paper.116743/post-12409328

Playable with one hand once you rebind controls.

Plot: You play as a missionary of God slaying demons, ghouls, zombies, flora and fauna. You also have a functioning uterus which can be filled. Then a couple rooms later give birth. Nuff said.
//////////////////////////////////////
Succubus affection: https://f95zone.to/threads/succubus-affection-v1-09e-diary-of-sakiba.49948/

Playable with one hand once you get all the girls, but a skilled and dexterous gamer can manage.

Plot: you are the only human left and you get adopted by a succubus who teaches you the power of beating women and having sex with them until they learn to like it. More girls= more power. So it's pretty similar to real life.

Tip: to unlock the NPC girls in town early on you need to sleep, jack off infront of them, sleep, repeat. Do this enough times and you'll get panties.

That's it for now, if you want more reccomendations feel free to seek out a therapists and explain what adverse childhood experiences have brought you to this thread. Have a good day and stay safe.

The only games i've seen doing something like that are shitty RPG maker games, no idea what other games have that kind of mechanic.
The Senran Kagura games are built around it. I think Bullet Girls is as well. Parasite Eve The Third Birthday does this as you take damage.

Death By Degrees has your clothes degrade over the campaign, along with a few outfit changes at various points in the story, but is purely cosmetic. Kind of like how Arkham Asylum does it. I want to say Rumble Roses had it too, but I've not played that game in years so I don't remember.

Fighting Vipers is a fighting game where you have armour that can break, resulting in taking more damage, but able to do a super KO. There are female characters in the game, so I'm not sure if that counts.

Sounds a bit like Honey Cam Studio, or whatever that game was. That was more a clicker game than a management game though.

Actually, that's interesting. I've never worked in the games industry (nor do I ever want to) but do people really give a shit? I thought employers were looking for coding skill and ability to work in a team...
I have never worked in the industry either. I do make games as a hobby, and knew people who claim to have worked in the industry. One guy is a freelance 3D artist. Claims to have worked on various AAA and AA games. Between contracts he draws porn. No one seems to care. Other guys I've known had similar stories. I think most companies don't care, or are willing to turn a blind eye provided you do the bare minimum to cover your tracks.

Maybe the problem is woke politics and cancel culture. Last of Us 2 and Mass Effect can have sex scenes, but anime games aren't allowed to show cleavage. The former are made talentless hacks who have their positions due to politics and connections, while the latter are people that make things that people want to play. A connection to porn is just another way to hammer down those who are not in the clique.

When Mortal Kombat had testosterone clothes go through wear and tear throughout the match. The cuts and tears stay throughout the match. Rumble Roses only had mud fights, but the mud doesn't stay on your wrestler after 2 minutes. Is She Will Punish Them any good as an ARPG?

Maybe the problem is woke politics and cancel culture.
Only if you're a centrist or right-winger, or if you're a lefty hated by other lefties. In wrestling, nerds still reee over Hogan saying nigger, yet they gave passes to wrestlers who are actually racist assholes (Rhea Ripley, Excalibur, Big E, Sasha Banks, etc.). At least Mass Effect had sex scenes for everyone (we're not counting Andromeda), but LoU2 was only meant for fags and Druckman's self-insertion fantasies.

Virt-A-Mate looks exactly like what i was looking for, and it has a pretty decent library.
I think it may be VR only but it's worth checking out. Doesn't have as much free stuff but I guess that's realistic.

I think they added non-VR support at some point, but maybe that's just for the studio part and not the playback part.

>Chinese only mod R18+.
That's funny, because I've been modding L4D2 again and the workshop is full of R18 anime mods with chinese characters that just absolutely flood trying to pick anything.

The Chinese side of steam seem to stick to Valve games or games with large Workshop communities. I know other workshop games are like this too. I remember Darkest Dungeon being bad but they seem to have cleaned that up. I've noticed Chinese mods for Warband and other games too.
