my friend was training to become a midwife, but has ended up training as a gynecologist, with a specialisation in obstetrics. all of her required reading in her final year was relating to trannies, both mtf and ftm.

they have a lot of people come in from the (now shut down) london transgender clinic, as apparently the LTC just kinda abandoned all thoughts of aftercare.

the LTC made some pretty... ok looking vaginas, but apparently most of the men that come in are disappointed by the depth - she estimated that most of the post-op trannies they get would prefer not to have a false cervix (e.g. the "wall" most men hit) created, and would rather go for max depth, which, as seen in the diagram below, means that they're at massive risk of splitting the rectovaginal septum.

she estimated about 30% of the mtf stinkditches that come in try and "stealth" it and pretend they were born a woman. they've had a few cases of some pretty "passing" ones come in, then they've been pressed on the speculum they need - tranny says the size, but the depth is atrocious, gyne presses and asks if depth is something they struggle with, tranny says no. speculum is opened, tranny is in searing fucking pain because their true and honest vagina doesn't really work. she estimated they've had incidents like that once or twice every week.

when I've been there, i'd say its roughly 1:5 women:men. they haemorrhage workers because they're so abused by trannies and there's a wholeass separate handbook on how to deal with them.

My surgeon kind of abandoned me.​

I originally had bottom surgery in 2019. With another surgoen (due to moving and changing insurances) I was supposed to have 3 surgeries to finish fixing a complication, with the first surgery being undoing most of my previous surgery to rebuild it in the 2nd surgery.
I had a negative experience with the way some stuff was handled, and my surgeon is now not comfortable working on me anymore.
That's the summary of it. I don't even know how to begin to explain how down I'm feeling about this.

I was already scared to work on fixing these complications because I knew going through surgery and having everything undone would suck. And it did, I hate hate hate my genitals now and would go back to how they were before the repair surgery if I could. I was really banking on having the second and third repair in a timely manner so that I can move past this, but now I have no idea who'll work on me, and the bigger issue is how long insurance will take to cover out an exception for me. Anyone else I go to, I'll incur thousands upon thousands of travel and rooming fees, and I'm on Medicaid and live below the poverty line.

I'm just upset and scared and don't know how I'm supposed to move forward.

Cw self harm/drugs I don't feel like I have any reason to care about my health anymore because I'm clearly not getting surgery any time soon. I want to hurt myself and I see no reason to continue being drug free. I dealt with being pre op by injuring myself and doing harder drugs and the way my genitals are arranged right now reminds me of what they were like pre op.
I feel abandoned and hurt.

I can't have sex, change clothes, shower, etc comfortably anymore. I am supposed to also do maintenance (wear cream and gauze) every day multiple times a day until my next repair surgery but I just can't. I hate my genitals right now and don't know what to do.
I'm so upset.

Well, granted (mostly poor) parents would eagerly offer their sons up for castration in medieval and Renaissance Europe if it meant they would get a shot at becoming a castrato singer for the church. Never mind that only a small fraction of these eunuchs would turn out to be talented enough to make an actual career; the remainder were destined for a rather miserable life in prostitution and poverty.

However, what differentiates then from now is that back then there was a very clear payoff. You would trade your testicles for material comforts, and sometimes fame. In present day western society, the payoff is not nearly as well-defined; at the beginning of the "trans kids" craze, sure, there was plenty of media attention and asspats to be had (see Jazz Jennings) but the tide is turning, and even if it wasn't, there are so many "pediatric transitioners" now that media is completely saturated with stories about them.

Just in case you were wondering how thoroughly trannies get vetted when they go to a “gender doctor”, here’s a post by a young pooner describing the process.
