I'm going to try (and probably fail) at being an armchair psychologist, but this tells me he got bullied a lot as a kid. Always, in any situation, whenever he is directly confronted by someone with obviously more power than him, there is zero struggle. There is no attempt to fight, or push back in any capacity.

Rhymes well with one of Phil’s ONLY redeeming qualities: How he tolerates Jayde and Derich and occasionally stands up for them. He knows what it feels like to be bullied.

(Well, I guess Phil has one other redeeming quality: He likes his cat a lot and apparently treats him well. Jasper certainly acts around Phil the way you’d expect a cat who likes his owner to act.)

Wouldn’t be surprised if Phil’s weird fixation with being a “mahture ahdult” also hails from this. Cue the teacher or Linda going: “Oh Phil, they’re just being dumb, immature kids when they tease you about the shape of your head or your hair! You need to be mature and rise above it!”

His immune system is probably fucked because of his shit diet and his alcoholism. People made fun of him for acting like he was on his deathbed, but would you be surprised if he actually fucking died?

A healthy immune system needs some exposure every now and then.

Phil’s near total social isolation means that he doesn’t get any of that. He’s basically like those 17th century native Americans who died if someone with a cold looked at them the wrong way.

While I wouldn’t expect Phil to keep over and die in stream in his forties, I could totally see him catch a simple cold from some kid and lay in bed for a week with bronchitis.

Cats don’t need a whole lot of water, and get most of their liquid intake from wet food. Or they’ll drink when they eat.

Just saying: Keeping a car from water 8 hours a night isn’t ideal, but isn’t anywhere near cruelty.

Not saying that Phil is the greatest cat owner in history, but there are plenty of retards out there having cats.

If we take off our detractor hats for a second, and look at the two interact, it’s obvious that Phil actually likes the little fella, and that Jasper acts the way a cat acts with a person they like.

As sad as it sounds, that cat is the closest thing Phil will ever get to another soul loving him.

I think this is part of Phil’s social isolation. Without any peers or people to compare himself to, he just does things in whatever way they make sense to him, as weird as they may be.

Kat definitely bought it for her secret lover (horse rider), but gave it to Phil on accident. No way she bought it for Phil ON PURPOSE. Like you’re telling me that she couldn’t tell how retarded it would look on old goutyface.

I joined late, and I can't be fucked to screenshot it all, but Phil just now turned his camera and mic on. He's been typing in his chat for thirty minutes because he cannot figure out how to setup his printer. He's setting it up right before stream, for some reason.

EDIT: He couldn't figure it out, so he gave up and just turned his camera on, and proceeded to rant about it. He said that he's been in his office for more than an hour trying to get it to work.
