No it didn't. Prolifers just misrepresented a dude talking about giving palliative care only to infants with fatal anomalies

Super late-term abortions are almost always wanted pregnancies with some kind of horrible diagnosis. A lot of nasty shit discussed in Tard Baby Gen isn't first diagnosed until pretty late in the game. Many conditions also run a spectrum in severity fron disabled to dead, and you might not be able to tell how bad the fetus is until pretty late even if a diagnosis is made earlier.

All women should have access to late term abortions because currently unless you can drop thousands of dollars and fly across the country to one of the few clinics that perform them, you have no choice but to give birth to whatever brainless inside-out abomination w/too many chromosomes you're cooking.

Plenty of children survive "fatal anomalies". We used to kill kids with down's syndrome and siamese twins, do we do that now? No, why? Because killing kids isn't moral. Some might not survive, but many would, and likelihood is not a reason to preemptively end the life of a child.

The point of the bill is to legalize AFTER BIRTH that which was already legal in Virginia before birth. If a child has a "fatal deformity" with a 100% mortality rate, it's likely been identified months before labor. At that point euthanasia has already been considered.

And zero kids survive shit like anencephaly and complete alobar holoproscencephaly. A vast majority of kids don't survive t13&18, and even shit like Down's syndrome can come with shit like fatal heart defects (and also has a ridiculous risk of early-onset dementia).

Do you really think that pro-lifers are exclusively a Christian fundamentalist movement?

Consider these deformities are extremely fucking rare and perhaps existing laws already have exceptions for them. If they don't, that's a separate issue. A kid being guaranteed to die being aborted doesn't justify killing a perfectly healthy one.
