keep in mind that a significant amount of us, especially in the states, have the same amount of hate and disdain for our "leaders", unelected bureaucrats, and the GAE that you do. I don't think you meant it like that.... but in case you did: I'm not admitting to being anything as I have never participated in the hypocrisy you describe. Been as against and outspoken as I could against all this insanity since the ron paul days of 2012 educated me on what's really going on with our insane leaders' bloodsoaked foreign policy.

I don't think this is so really, apathy and disaffection and political hopelessness are also drivers of low turnout. Civic virtue is lacking in either case. Wanting your republic to have civic virtue sounds like a pleasant fantasy but it is in my view 100% essential to avoiding the present nightmare convergence between republican government, Leninist paranoiac political culture, and the social values of post Cold War kleptocracy. It's a bad sign if leadership thinks it's ok most citizens don't care for their futures and kin and neighbors. If your citizens aren't voting in numbers that suggest a mandate, you're more dictator than president, no matter where you are.

Well I don't want THD. I have a couple of hohol friends whom I care for, and it makes me sad when I hear of Ukie losses because in my mind they're just misguided individuals. I don't understand the bloodlust reddit and the media have for dead Russians, however, it pisses me off. Hoping for a Maidan 3 or a nice collapse at the front into surrender so there's less suffering at the end. Current situation is not a stalemate as far as I know but it looks messy and the Ukies are having some internal problems with mobilization so I guess there's that.

It appears that the ex-spokestranny never returned to Ukraine after the washington trip. As of yesterday, he is in Panama now investigating "migration issues" and apparently how everything on the US southern border is Russia's fault. He will be continuing his investigation all over central and south America supposedly.

He also did an explicit tweet about a week ago where he denied being a military spokesman for Ukraine. That was somewhat odd and something he had never done before than I can remember.

Ever since this war started I always remained a bit neutral, leaned with Russia out of spite and also because I knew the two nations have been having issues with each other for a while and not everything is as it seems but after seeing and learning more and more about the deep rooted corruption of Ukraine and the entire system, and now this, I fully root for Russia
