Sam and Ben are carrying the show on their back. I'd love to see a side by side of the selection process between seasons one and two, because every last one of these contestants have a sub-Saharan IQ, aside from oddly wholesome gay porn actor Shinji.

From the recordings and Tumblr posts, she is having both psychosis  and a BPD episode. They don't switch on and off. You can hear her trying to wretch back control, namely in the tape where she eats food, and then desperately claw back for love and attention. Some cases of BPD are intense enough to be the cause of psychosis (I can not speak for Summer, I am not her healthcare provider). That is where the "Borderline" part of the name comes from. Borderline psychotic. She is likely not trying to be manipulative, but naturally is due to her thrashing between emotions. Which brings me to this:

No one should ever reach out to Summer unless a family member or personal real life friend who intends to continue her mental healthcare. Any attempts to talk to her online will likely make her worse. She is unstable, so any information you glean isn't reliable.

And Jet, learn from your predecessor. Avoid the temptation to stick your dick in an unstable woman.

That clip where she's about to about to cry because she couldn't tie her karate uniform told me everything. Cute girls with BPD should be treated like plutonium. Shocked Jet let that live grenade into the house after all of Sam's tedtalks about psycho bitches. It's a shame everybody's gonna ask her to hop onto discord for an "interview" once she's free from the looney bin. Best thing for everyone is to let her sink back into the void.

They can't tell the difference which is why every time they have a legitimate complaint about being ripped off, the "white" perpetrator's name is usually something along the lines of "Rabbi Shlobstein".

No, but when you're doing a show that was tentatively called "Hell House" at one point you should probably ask a question in the interview that goes something like, "Are you now or have you ever previously been diagnosed with a mental illness and, if so, which one(s)?"

The US legal system does not look kindly about making money off of tards, and if the situation went truly sideways, culminating in an actual suicide attempt or whatever, Hyde and crew would absolutely be facing a lawsuit that they could've avoided if they stopped doing everything half-assed.

How do we know that Jet and co didn't do their due diligence in vetting out Summer's illnesses? Summer seemed fine until she wasn't. Just asking about someone's mental illness doesn't guarantee they will be honest. Summer could have lied about it and Jet has no way to prove otherwise, it's not like there's a database that shows you what mental illnesses someone has. Or hell, she could have told the truth and honestly believed she was stable enough to go on the show. She did have a job and was in school while auditioning, that alone shows she's not so far gone that she can't be independent or that she can't understand and make decisions on her own.

I know Jet has done a lot of stupid things but I don't see how anyone could have predicted Summer going crazy. Again, she was fine up until she started losing her shit over nothing.

If she was in a psych ward involuntarily beyond the standard 48-72 hours (ie. Court ordered), then it should show on a background check. If it was voluntary commitment each time that she was in there previously, then it likely wouldn't show. If she lied to production, then it would be much harder to sue later on.
