Why does everyone suddenly have their own personally contrived definition of terms when it suddenly pertains to one of their buddies looking bad? "Catfishing" refers to the actual baiting done by whoever is the "decoy" in the scenario. "Catfishing" isn't the uncovering of other people using decoys to bait others online. It's hard to take someone coping and seething for 10 minutes serious when they start by improperly defining the most important term in the situation.
