We live in an age that promotes unwarranted trust, willful vulnerability, and unrealistic expectations to young females which sets them up for disappointment or failure. Or worse. Failures that they're bewildered and deeply hurt by because they were told what they were doing was ok (either passively or actively) and/or because they were shielded from feeling the sting of earlier and milder failures. It's an ongoing disservice (based upon prevailing social myths concerning "equality" and sexual differences) being provided by everyone: parents, schools, government, etc.

Revenge porn is a horrible, nightmarish thing- but it can be avoided if: a) you simply don't have sex with anyone b) your sexual partners are carefully chosen and have proven themselves to be trustworthy well before having sex with them and/or c) you don't take, permit, or share any compromising photos of your naked self. All three of those are conventionally undesirable and socially ridiculous these days thanks to our liberal feminism mores. But if they were followed, those would prevent most revenge porn from happening due to lack of usable material.

Kids of both sexes have always engaged in aggression and bullying to establish social pecking orders. Boys don't have the market cornered there. But their options for releasing their pent up energy and controlling their rising hormone levels in socially acceptable ways have been greatly curtailed. By accident, with how we live our modern lives today, but also by social engineering experiments that are simply not working. So they're finding expression elsewhere.
