I don't understand why they always back up when Jon comes at them. Why not stand your ground and let the ape do what apes do? The content, the charges and the fund raising potential would be off the hook.

Jon's aggressive posture on approach is crazy. One day, a few years ago, I was telling my family about the time he went after Keane Bexte. I got up out of my counter stool and imitated his movements going towards my 10 year old son. My nephew's malamute bit my arm before I got there. Instead of an academy award for my stellar performance, I got a couple of canine tooth puncture holes down to the bone.

It may just be instinct. But Rebel's lawyers may have instructed them to back away so their video footage proves that he's the aggressor if he gets violent. They may run up to him to question him, but they then back off and he comes at them instead of just going on his way with the lumpish sheriff's deputy protecting his vast ass.

Following orders, maybe? Told to protect Yaniv so that's what he does. Maybe told the Rebel reporters were out there and might try to trigger Yaniv into another Bexte incident so stay between him and the reporters, though the only time he did that was after Yaniv gave up and waddled into the elevator. ETA: At one point, I thought he was just going to stand back and laugh while Rebel got its money's worth.

At a couple of court appearances in the past, female deputies have walked Yaniv to his car and stayed between him and the media/hecklers, using command voice to keep him shuffling along instead of squabbling and menacing people even when ultimate-Yaniv-trigger Donald Smith was present.

Maybe for a female to get and keep a deputy sheriff job, she's got to outperform the butt-scratching males in the corps? It is not an exalted position - more like courthouse security guard than anything else - so they can't attract top talent by offering spiffy red coats and fine horses to ride in parades.

Even "likeness" feels overly generous. Makes me can't help but wonder what picture he starts off with and what process makes this strange homunculus of a woman with his face.

MeowMix has a maintenance page up. I appreciate their archival work, their preservation of the record, but this baiting is lazy, and more importantly, no longer generates the rich creamy milk the world has come to expect from a lolcow of this size.

Yeah I thought the Christmas bs was low effort asf, there was content to write about with Johnny boy claiming DFS was coming back to BC to see him, and I want to say there was something else but I can't remember it now. Kind of sucks that such a large milk-producing cow and Meow Mix isn't keeping up with it since they got new owners.
