The biggest thing the GOP failed to learn from Reagan is that Reagan was a man of his time, addressing the anxieties of the voters of his time with solutions that made sense for his time. Instead, they got the idea that "cut taxes + increase defense spending" is an automatic win button in politics. The idea that they should be talking about the problems of the 2020s instead of the 1980s is lost on Republicans.
Wasn't also there a stark contrast between first term Reagan and second term Reagan? Like if the deep state got to him in his later years?
Oh the American media field is like a soap opera. Maybe they like it like that.

Epstein should have been a topic delved into insane death since mid 2019. That it's coming up now just makes me think it's "LOOK ALIENS!" 2.0
Meh, it was Christmas break.
Which would be fine, but we all know that orange men aren't allowed that clemency.

You mean the dementia, and his wife was puppeteering him?
Possibly.
Very much. Basically, is how much of what Reagan did on his second terms was actually Reagan and how much was it deep state, dementia or his wife pulling shit out of a hat. Irrelevant question sure since the damage is clear as day today, but if they specially managed to coopt him in the second term, would make sense why they deified the populist that made them look bad for a while till they corrected the ship.

I will never understand how so many fucking people can have their vernacular changed by osmosis alone.

Because there are are only 500 Fortune 500 companies, all 500 of them have histrionic cat ladies running their HR departments, and all 500 of them let the employees know that the Associated Press Style Guide will serve as a language guide at the company, and if you don't like it, you can resign or be fired, your choice.

More like "Republicans lost control of the Senate." There are a lot of modern armchair politicians who do not understand that the President cannot order Congress to pass laws.

for some reason, I read Fortune 500 as S&P 500. There's some over lap, but some of the fortune 500 are private companies. And I was gonna mention the Russel 1000 and 2000.

Commies infected higher education. They push out people to work for the managerial class. Those folks end up at HR. They mostly think a like.

Almost no one has the resources and support to stand up to the massive lawfare that the Fed can use, so if they can't bar Trump they will ensure that no one else will slip by. Make it so no MAGA can join the Senate or House or even local municipal elections and so starve him of support and then sabotage him "legaly".

We are not even a week into 2024. Things will get much crazier.

Nah this is them upset that the red states aren't bearing their share of the burden of illegal migration (i.e., 99.99%). They won't put any pressure on Mayor Dumbniggerrapist. Remember, those migrants are supposed to flip Texas purple enough that they can get an insurmountable blue rigging machine in place in Texas state politics, they're not supposed to be shipped out of state where they're useless to the uniparty.
When you think about it.

All these mud people are basically being used as biological weapons by the shitlibs.

I used to work irl with a doc who was Flight Surgeon on Air Force Two for Bush Sr's first term, dude glowed like The Elephant's Foot but he was nice enough to me
iirc his take was Reagan started to get wobbly about halfway through second term, but never anything _really_ pants-crappingly bad while he was still president

If the Democrats keep pulling the mask off, it may finally wake up a sufficient amount of normies. Give me all the rainbows!

Way to go Joe!

If this was 10 years ago, people might not have pay attention. But with the bread being $6 a loaf and the circuses all shitty and woke, people are gonna pay attention.

Paxton has won way, way more often than he has lost against these fuckheads.
I put my money on Paxton.
Why do you think the RINOs in the Texas House were so desperate to impeach him?

While it would be funny, I'm not sure that Judicial estoppel would be super helpful for Texas here unless Biden administration has consistently said in court that actions like Texas' are okay.
They have in a sense, in defense of state marijuana laws. With that said, I feel like this is the Republican equivalent to gun grabbing. It's unconstitutional, that's not going to change, but your voters demand something. Like it or not, immigration is the purview of the federal government and I think they are looking to force an avenue of enforcement against Biden for not doing his job, or for the courts to force Biden to do his job.
Vivek pulling a Trump on a Washington Post journalist about white supremacy. Notice what Vivek has been doing, he's been placing a big "TRUTH" banner behind him in the past weeks, but due to its size you usually only get three letters due to camera angles. it's to get your eyes accustomed to recognizing "TRUMP = VIVEK." It's very clever.
He is campaigning to be Vice-President Vivek hard. Maybe they already have an agreement.
