The latter is something Nick should have outgrown decades ago. On the one hand, I can’t help but hope that his own children inherited this immaturity from him and will make his life a living hell with it. But ultimately I wouldn’t wish such a deplorable, intractable childishness on innocent kids. And I have little doubt that Nick’s children are already more mature and reasonable than he is.
I have no index to how the children behave, but I am at least hopeful that the schooling and religious teaching they do get are enough to put at least the seeds of good sense into their heads so that if they do manage to wander afar in the fields, they are least have some idea of where to turn back.
Where do people go when they need help amd hit rock bottom? Typically their family, old community, friends they trust, or their local parish they grew up in. Why? It is almost as if people are hardwired to understand that thr most basic institutions are able to help them and maintain a sane and stable society.
I'm honestly of the belief now that his "sober stream" January, including actually doing collabs etc., is to simply try to sell himself as "Look I good boy" to Rumble. Given how he's backpedaled on the drinking already, none of this seem sincere. The actual stream with Destiny and Balldoman was torture, I turned the audio off after 5 minutes because I could feel myself becoming dumberer listening to it.
I can only assume, based on anecdotes given her and clips, that Balldoman's night streams are just as bad (or worse) as his showing with Destiny.
I agree the act is likely for Rumble. If they gave Mersh a contract but snubbed Salty Cracker who brings in a lot more audience and revenue, that tells me (and signals to Nick) that they might only have a short-term attention span.
Also, can we just appreciate the fact that Nick's sober stint is hilarious in either a positive or negative interpretation of his own words?
If Nick REALLY meant sober shows only, then he hasto admit that the drink (like the degeneracy) was harmful--just as his old core audience and the Farms has told him for a year or more. He has admitted it was a crutch, nd I wonder if we will get another, 'You were right, but told me in a faggy way, so *I* was right to ignore you' sperg-out.
If Nick is being disingenuous, then he managed to break January sobriety in negative time. It implies either some or all of an inability to control his drinking, loss of memory, and a desperate scrambling to find an excuse for his own failure.
