If you're just starting dieting, it's not at all surprising to lose 5 lbs in the first week. It's water weight. Once you shed that initial 5 pounds or so, it'll slow to 1 or 2 lbs per week. And you should overshoot your target weight by around 5 lbs, too, because you will almost immediately gain the water weight back once you're eating normally.Isn't 5lbs still supposed to be a bit much? Then again, I am not familiar with burger units.
