What Niji did was the exact opposite of transparent; instead, it was clearly and obviously self-serving. Their "statement" was designed to burn the talent by misrepresenting or exaggerating situations to make themselves look like the aggrieved party who had been heavily damaged by the malfeasance of their former employee, knowing that the other side couldn't immediately respond to it. There is a reason that companies generally don't make long, damaging statements like this when they let an employee go. They put out short, bland inoffensive statements and move on. It was dirty, unprofessional, and only damaged their overall reputation in the long run.

They weren't transparent at all, they were very deliberately worded, leaving out context and specific details to make things seem worse than what they were.
Saying she played a copyrighted song in relation to her playing a nijisanji original song from her genmate is not transparency, anyone would read that as her playing some unrelated pop song.
Saying she made a statement that could lead to leaking internal information in response to her liking a tweet on her personal account is not transparency. Equating a twitter like to a "statement" is something that only exists in the most deranged minds.

Disclosing that I am a Phase phag, I don't think there's a bad one out of the bunch. The only one that is kind of a put off is Remi and that's just because I'm not a fan of the thick babu voice.


I think it's important to remember that they came out of nowhere in 2021. If I'm being completely honest I never imagined that they'd come this far especially when you consider the grave yard of other vtuber start ups. Are the big three agencies in danger of a Fishman sweep? No, at least not anytime soon, but I hope to be there when they do. We will meme these sad girls into greatness whether they like it or not.

Also a Phase Phag, but I do consider PC to be the best EN company, considering the Big 3 are located out in the East.

And the thing that I like about PC, is how normal these girls act. Sure it may be amped up a little bit, but it does feel like the talents act this way outside of streaming. Between that and the loose leash Sakana keeps them on (like which other agency would allow multiple talents to stream Class of 09 and Coffin of Andy and Leyley).

It's interesting that Hololive has a much better public image than Niji these days. Though of course if you go back to mid-late 2020 a lot of people were calling Hololive the black company over suspending Coco and Haachama for mentioning Taiwan in videos discussing their YouTube analytics, but they've somehow managed to move on past that.

I feel like Zaion's termination was one of the big catalysts for Niji's public perception to start plummeting, not only over them accidentally confirming that they suspend their talents under the public guise of "last-minute family vacations" but also Sayu's (Zaion PL) massive response document to the reasons mentioned in the termination announcement.

you guys got some sloppy memory on this stuff. The song she played on stream wasn't an original it was a cover which is copyrighted by someone else. (quote from Zaion's statement herself)


The "social media like" statement was a couple things according to zaion, not just the tweet like but also the apparant firing up of her PL in response to the suspension, relaunching merch, and possibly even just putting in her twitter bio at that time an implication that she was returning. Worth note the specific listing for this stuff was “Making statements that could lead to speculation or leaking of internal information using social media accounts that she personally operates during her activity suspension time.” which also encompasses just that her actions were feeding speculations about what was going on between her and Niji behind closed doors and just feeding rrats in general. and lord knows how far back the streak of her throwing youtube likes on comments from her sayu account on comments calling for her to leave Niji, or that she was already leaving Niji even before her termination was up went which would also fit the bill of what they're claiming here.

Like I said disagree or say it's dumb all day but about the only one that could be taken as deceptive would be the sponsorship one if the "Deez nuts" thing was what it was in response to, since I know people also thought at the time it might have been some jokes about being sponsored by Raid. Zaion didn't provide a reference for this bulletpoint like she did in other areas where she clarified showing what Niji said to her.

All in all her behavior since the split hasn't exactly painted a shining picture of her either in regards to her doing and saying stupid shit, from throwing her new rigger under the bus and having to walk it back, to having the reigns of her personal twitter account taken over by a friend so she'd stop menhera posting. All of which just ends up lending creedence to Niji's claims of her making damaging statements and failing to learn from her mistakes.
