The last few posts are really evident about another shit show in the way Fishtank is run. They openingly lie and gaslight the Fish, but they also need really need to have actual boundaries to run a safe show.

Now that can run things really tight so that anything the Fish can do that isn't risking the other Fish or the show is cool, but in that case you don't have a clear box of money that can be easily thrown to be broken, or opened by hand with out any specialized tools.

Realistically, they either need to have a system where the Fish can understand they are being communicated to outside the bounds of the contest, or you don't have Fish able to lose by following the instructions of staff.

Lol that poor cop
Probably the weirdest thing he's ever been called to investigate. Didn't production tip off the cops that this might happen? I would have expected them to make the cops aware after it happened in Season 1. Although they probably still legally have to show up if there's a call, even when they suspect swatting.

i think they just need a more structured format, they need some way of starting a challenge, and defining strict rules, letting fish ask questions and also letting them know what rules might get changed as the challenge is developing, you have to stick to the rules or have some sort of way to modify them that all the fish agree is for the better.
ie when shit gets too boring you are able to call a council, make some rule change or declare a winner have the fish vote on it and move on.

you start this structure early on in the show when things are somewhat calm and make sure you keep it for the more chaotic parts, even if the the rules become more vague or harsh as it goes along, but you have to have some structure.

but at a minimum this would require planning out stuff....

I thought they had to smoke them as soon as they got them. I would imagine if that wasn't the case, it would be easy to avoid by taking them away if they tried to trade em.
no they just light them, the fish where just putting them out right away and saving them.

I'm curious which wigger is writing the little messages that pop up on the bottom of the screen, or if they trade off. The tone has been consistent so I think it's always been the same person. The messages are pretty funny.
Its Wes their developer who is based in Finland

Watching Sam get upset as the fish fail to follow rules and screw up with $800 of AIDS tests is great, and the fact that it's clearly not the intent of the Production shows how badly they understand the show they got.

You have a bunch of retarded zoomers who are being hit by the competency crisis, not in high end manufacturing, but just basic life skills. Make them responsible for stuff and blow out their asses when they fail. Duayne fucking up the last AIDS test to clear Shinji so they don't have to wait till tomorrow for a medic is funnier than every pepper ate, every racial slur shouted, and all the forced comedic bits written by the fish. My favorite memory from Season 1 is that there wasn't a microwave in the house and they had no idea how to work a stove.

I'm not saying it should be the entire show, and there are definitely going to be fish it won't work with because they aren't as incompetent as the average twenty something, but they always should be getting responsibilities and production should always capitalize on when they can't handle basic stuff.
Sam's exasperation and anger at their incompetence is what keeps me tuning in. The way they foil what little production has planned just to sit doe-eyed and silent as Sam takes it out on the house is pure schadenfreude.

Worried most about Jimmy if I'm being honest.

Gaslighting only works if production is subtle with it. If the fish found out they are being gaslit or lied to by the production it will be a boy who cried wolf situation and the fish just won't trust production leading to less content being produced. A good example of gaslighting done well was when Sam would interview the fish during the first week individually.

Trust was there because it was rare for Sam to go out of his Jedidiah persona at that time, so the fish took him seriously. This allowed him to nudge the fish in ways he wanted and ways they would have a hard time discovering. He could create rivalries/bonds between fish with passing comments and allow the fish to be creative and come to there own conclusions/make their own actions.

Now Sam talking in his normal voice is common place and crew has lied to the fish in such obvious ways that the fish just don't care or seem invested. They revealed Taylor is an actor, so it's not a big surprise the fish don't trust the new chick or engage with her in anyway. There's no benefit in doing so and it's obvious production is involved in some way. The distrust has gotten bad enough to where production giving a task to be completed goes almost completely ignored by the fish. Maybe next time they shouldn't throw the trust away by faking out eliminations or for stupid bits like doll activity.

Abby talked to the cams said that she is aware that Tay doesn't trust her and she is going to find out why. She then meekly walks up and sits in the chair next to Jimmy.

Sam was unironically right when he said "we should just shave her head and let her go" that would have been hilarious.

edit: find the beetle right meow and you get 25k and the shows over -- Vance

I didn't see it posted, so I guess I have to do it: earlier TTS asked Shinji to do the Shinji in chair thing and he did it.
