Twitch & Their Competitors / r/LivestreamFail / Live Streamer Community - Imitation of Hollywood

Asmongold stuck in autopilot "single out a viewer and shit on them without actually addressing what they said" mode for a while now. Every time I glimpse at his stream lately, he's shitting on and banning someone (usually when they start gaining traction with the point they are making) that dared to say he was wrong on something. It's just really nasty to see. Absolute ego trip and power imbalance.
Is he still coping and seething by streaming on his zackrawr account instead of the main asmongold one?

Most untrue statement I have ever read, have you seen his chat/community? He just doesn't acknowledge it.
I think Vincent is pretty smart for calling everyone in chat "chat member" otherwise he'll be saying "daddy's jizzies" constantly
Mike worries me tho, I know he's his closest friend but that also means there's only one degree of separation between Vinny and Anime Owl Husbando

Best decision a streamer could take honestly. Treating chat like they don't exist will solve every issue that might arise.

Asmongold, xQc, all of OTK, Ludwig, Hasan, amongst other famous streamers
I had to google all of these except Hasan, because he once had a tiny shred of clout in the mainstream. All I really learned, besides 'streamers are autismbait for 10 year olds' is that Asmongold's house is more cursed and infested than 14BLC.

Honestly Ass-mongle has so many of you by the balls. Just rent free in your heads its honestly sort of funny. Of course he isn't going to comment because he doesn't have to. The man is essentially made of Teflon most accusations against him in the past have been half assed and if you cry wolf on someone enough times people stop listening. The constant barrage he used to take has completely inoculated his audience against any real serious allegations because they are now programed to dismiss them offhand.

The charity shit isn't even that bad. There are charities with their hands so far into the jar that not even quarters or DIMES of every dollar goes to actual people in need. 40ish percent is rookie numbers. People should be verifying before making a donation anyway.
The people decrying this aren't his audience and didn't even donate anyway. Why would he waste his breath addressing a handful of sperg faggots on twitter who don't even contribute to his bottom line?

It's always a self-own when he talks about or shows his room because it always is just a showcase of "this is what the guy who morally lectures people lives like".
"Because he has a fast food cup mountain, he's just like me. So desu ka."

If you donate to a streamer, you deserve to be scammed.
I get my money's worth with Josh, he always and diligently Says The Thing™.

None of these dogshit streamers seem to have an identifiable hook, they're not RLM, they're not Cumtown, they're not Accursed Farms, they're not even Pewdiepie, what in God's name draws kids to these people?

I know it's been said, but donate to your church. A church that has existed for hundreds if not thousands of years gets probed up the ass on the daily in terms of their finances. Not to mention they already know how to get the money from A to B. They aren't retards, it's in the job description.

Particularly this part, the whole 'softgiving' shit looks plenty sussy to me.
The whole value proposition for SoftGiving is such a perfect racket.

SoftGiving is essentially a charity middle man with a tech bro gloss. Since some zoomer streamer could never be asked to focus his attention for 25 seconds to research a charity he genuinely supports, you just hire this company to run the event and donate the money for you. In exchange for this incredible service, they take juuuust under half the bag since the admin costs for the software front end are just *so high*. A bunch of fake LLC cut-outs downstream get paid off through no-work services contracts and the grift keeps grifting.

BLM got caught out running the exact same scam, but were so dumb they didn't realize organizing as a charity meant public records requests. I'd wager SoftGiving is a private company and someone got a hold of some contracts and put it together.

This is from the article and something that was originally posted by SoftGiving (link). Looks like even in the best-case scenario that they presented, streamers are making around 10%-20% of the money raised from these charity streams depending on their type of fee. I'm guessing that an overwhelming majority of people who donate to CHARITY streams assume that the streamers do it out of kindness and generosity for a good cause.
this, plus having only 58% actually going to charity, is grounds for the IRS to fuck up all these guys lives, no? or am i getting that wrong

Exactly. And you can clearly see where the money is going.

And if not religious, donate time at a soup kitchen, shelter, or somewhere that does work for those which need help.

I used to work at United Way in Austin, TX in a capacity that allowed me to see the salaries of all employees, the fucking CFO made $120,000 a year, charities are indeed exposed to easily duping saps into "doing good".
Sorry for the double post, but, my ability to edit the above post isn't available...

All that to say that the singular CFO making 6 figures was only one of over 80 such United Way "charities" in Texas, which means 80 more Chief Financial Officers are making around that same amount per year, so we are looking at millions of dollars going to people that only serve as a figure head in Texas alone from the charity grift. The "pledge" system they use to secure donations is broken from the bottom up, the only thing that United Way for Greater Austin cared about was virtue signaling.

Not necessarily. Just depends on how everything was organized and set up and if they could prove it was all costs. For instance if the streamers had flat appearance fees versus sharing agreement changes thing some.

Its not illegal for a charity to run a "failed" event where they spent more than they made for instance. Though that scam will get shutdown.

If the place can prove they actually gave out the other million and the rest was pre defined costs before hand its probably gonna be fine.

Note most charities have issues like this. Which is why most charities always present as urgently needing money and being broke and dont brag to show off their clout that they got so much money. Just "we thank everyone for the huge out pouring of support and were able to do x" (doing x requires contracts with their friends or hiring more headcount of course)

TBH running from it is far worse than just owning up to it. A lot of charities take a cut of donations to pay for operating expenses. If you just apologied for not knowing, Then do a new charity stream for some existing group you'd easily turn it into a PR win.
To qualify as a legitimate charity in the eyes of the IRS you only have to give away five percent of your revenue. 42% is actually not a bad number as charities go (they're all scams imo)
