Had a late thought regarding Nick disliking this thread. Most who have posted opinions on the issue have been in agreement that Nick drove the direction of the thread & not vice versa.
Nonetheless, Nick hates the thread. We’ve all heard his bitching & moaning about it, no summary needed here.

The point is, if Nick finds himself being documented in the thread so terrible, one would think, he’d make sure to be extra careful about shielding those he loves from enduring the same.
Yet, he’s done the opposite. While it is true that Kayla put herself out there in certain ways, she does have some plausible deniability as to not being aware of what she was getting into. Even if she’s heard the terms in passing, it is doubtful that a woman who doesn’t even have her own social media accounts anywhere, would truly know what “the sektur” or “the Kiwi Farms” etc., really is.
It was Nick’s duty to, at the very least, fully explain it all & warn her of possible consequences. Although, he really should have kept her away from any public interaction involving him from the start.

At a certain point, she withdrew from appearing on videos & stopped posting on Locals.
Nick though, never shut up about her. Constantly oversharing about their sex life, saying embarrassing & degrading things about Kayla, saying things that have fueled speculation over the state of their relationship, on & on.
Not to mention the things Nick has said about his kids.

Posts about Kayla haven’t been unwarranted, nor should Kayla herself be given a free pass for the part she’s played. But overall, the person most responsible for her being in the thread is Nick. He almost couldn’t do her more dirty if he tried. As recently as last week he was non-stop slurring out disrespectful bs about Our Wife. Nick can cry more about the thread & the consequences of his own actions.

Nick did well shielding his family for about 4 years. He was meticulous about keeping children off-camera, and there were only 2-3 slips in that time period. His wife was only of a few times, and any weirdness that she gave off was largely forgotten because she was on so seldom and for typically only short periods. She was in teh back of everyone's consciousness, and got the benefit of the doubt that your mates' spouses get when you do not know them well--'They are probably nice'.

Where I recall this changing was with their holiday hotel streaming from what we now know was Hedonism and her involvement on LOCALS. A little while earlier she dabble with her own YT channel about being a mother and had 2-3 videos on it (mostly shorts and wholesome content), but that went for weeks abandoned before Hedonism.

Once she got into LOCALS and started interacting with the audience directly with Nick (I believe the deleted LOCALS chats were a lot of the ones where Kayla was there) something changed that led to the arse and bottle-posting. I recall Nick saying how shy she was and introverted, so I think that he was probably a large motivator for her to engage with the fandom, and it went tits up very quickly.

We can argue forever on WHAT it was, or if it was latent or nascent, but this was the time period when she became fully immersed in the discussion within the Farms and Nick's fandom. For me, her image transformation (even before the cosmetic surgery) was about the same process as Nick's--unexpected and sudden--so I suppose they have a similar cause and pathology.

I think that you are right to some extent, but for me, it just the fact that we do not KNOW a whole lot about Kayla at all--at least compared to Nick. Maybe someone can go back and pull something out from her dozen or so hours of online appearances, but at least based on my recollection, she is a big unknown factor, so I cannot hazard a guess at her motivations; merely record the objective facts about her.

She definitely reveled in the attention, but her change from the typecast 'homeschool Christian homemaker' was more inexplicable than Nick's transformation from 'Based Trad Dad' to 'Total Sleaze Degenerate'. At least with Nick there were signs, but this could be due to a lack of a proper sample size on Kayla.

TL;DR she is less visible (and hated) than Balldo, so perhaps she is ignored.

Its in this one. This contains a nice summary of his college years. Another thing worth pointing out is that his "Everquest" gaming year was his first year at Southwest Minnesota State but his second year in college (counting the community college year).

He has never to my knowledge identified the community collage he attended.

My logic is very simple.

Balldo is Catholic, he presents himself as a right wing conservatarian (yikes, this word) trad-dad.
According to his type of men, women should be absolutely subservient to their husbands, supporting his endeavors (most which are fruitless), stay in the house to raise kids, and being seen, not heard.
Basically, a house elf with a ball gag. I'm sure this just aroused Balldo, please don't take this as an inspiration for your next field kit.
