I mean legally it's a good play. But the look is terrible. You could at least put a boiler plate out saying "im looking into it" even if you never do
Not a good look for OTK. They had one of their founding members post "Gonna take some time and come up with my response." about Sexual Assault Allegations before never saying anything and leaving the Internet entirely.
OTK has a whole is kind of a dumpster fire. You have Rich get accused of Sexual Assault and flee the Internet completely. You have Mizkiff also accused of either defending someone accused of sexual assault if not outright being complicit.
Mizkif also got OTK sued for defamation which was pretty funny.
There was some other bullshit recently involving Techtone, who's probably the most stereotypical stoner dumb ass you could possibly imagine.
I genuinely feel like in order to join OTK you have to be mentally deficient, have questionable moral and ethical decision making, be some variant of sex pest, and constantly push for twitch to push more sexual content onto minors.
I mean seriously, Asmongold was championing the changes to twitches artistic nudity policy as some big win for twitch because a large part of his brand is "Lmao dude, lets jerk off to hentai and support sex work! Yeah!".
All this is to say, any other organization could probably do something like you suggested and it be common sense and work. OTK however, is an org run by morons and sex pests who can't do anything because they either already did it and got caught doing it, or will appear to be hypocritical to some extreme degree.
