Can any Israelis explain the reasoning behind what appears to be the targeting of Gazan journalists? Is there some sort of intelligence that they are directly working for Hamas? is it just journalist=bad?

I can't see why the IDF would be going to this much effort to kill Dahdouh otherwise, especially considering that Al Jazeera inside Israel is (inexcusably) treated with kid gloves. That being said, I have zero issue with targeting enemy propagandists in wartime, especially those who celebrated/livestreamed/participated in 7/10.

To be honest, though, I don't think that journalists qua journalists are being targeted specifically. A few over 100 killed out of 6000 claimed journalists in Gaza is about the same death rate as the general population.

This is off topic but it has to be said the "swimming pools" at Auschwitz were water reservoirs for firefighting which were later converted into makeshift pools for the staff. Prisoners were never allowed near them.

The IDF struck Wael Dahdouh's house earlier in the war. He was not home but his family members there all were killed in the strike. Many hostages as well as Hamas leaders are said to be underneath Khan Younis. When the IDF finishes cornering Khan Younis and decides to move in, that’s when things will really heat up.

Pro-Palestinian protestors are currently blocking I-5 in Seattle. Traffic is super fucked. The police are there but are just sitting in their cars and watching. Cars that have been stuck there all day have found places to slip through the barriers and are driving the wrong way down on-ramps to try and get out. Since they want to protest for Palestine, why not give them a taste of the skunk spray Israelis use on Palestinians ? Since we no the legal system won't punish them, why not just make them smell like shit for several days ?
