Jet's Failure:

Jet is in charge when Sam is asleep. He was explicitly asked to keep an eye on Jimmy. For the wiggers to not let him out of their site. The first thing they do (when half the audience is sleeping) is go to work at grating on Jimmy's nerves. They ratchet it up to a point that not even Sam would escalate things. For all of Sam's faults he knows when to reign things in. Despite this Jet and the wiggers were completely relaxed around Jimmy. When he slunk off to throw a comically sized mallet at a 90 pound girl he did so with ease.

It wasn't some sleek moment of situational awareness. He just went up stairs and did it. For all the criticisms Jet gets, that are based on speculation, this was his biggest fuck up since the Frank situation. His boss gave him a single order and he didn't even try. In fact he went to work getting their biggest asset kicked from the show. And when things were going down and Jimmy needed stopping? Jet was by far the slowest to arrive. I'll bet Ben and Vance come out of this looking strong and Jet falling a few notches.

Sam's Mistake:

Kicking Brian was such a colossal mistake. It was an unneeded move. They were already hemorrhaging fish at this point. It felt like a move to get the fish more competitive. To drive home the stakes. But the risk was too high for reward. We're down to four fish with almost three weeks left. Brian would have came in useful when Frank visits. They're going to need a tough fish to deal with his shit. Without that Frank is going to look like a joke when he's likely scaled back as to not lose another fish. For all the humble bragging Sam does about his IQ the Brian elimination was such a stupidly planned moment.
Agreed. Vance in particular looked awesome sliding the camera on the floor and restraining Jimmy in one fell swoop. His technique needs practice, but he could totally work as Fishtank's security after being taught a few moves by Scott, he has the right mindset for it. He's always the first to notice and jump in when things are starting to pop off in a bad way, like when Blaygack started getting uppity towards Trish the other day.

Jet and even Ben, who I still generally like, continue to look like retards. In Ben's defense, he's likely just taking after Jet, his immediate superior. Season 1 went off as well as it did because of the great cast and the audience's charity, and in spite of WiggerTeam, not the other way around. Sam needs to hire more synthpop/goth musicians and less rappers.

As an aside, the collective "Oh shit" by the crew after hearing Brit scream upstairs and not seeing Jimmy anywhere was so fucking right lol.

sad to see my nigga jimmy gone, but it was going to happen eventually.
this was a straight up fuck around and find out moment, not that i say what jimmy did was right, but it was what the wigglers where asking for all day, wtf they think was going to happen.

Has Sam acknowledged this whole shitshow with Jimmy anywhere yet?
kind of he tweeted that they need a new retard asap and to send him videos.
but nothing about what happened i think.

Thanks, forgot twitter existed.
Just saw this.
Tbh, I think I'd prefer Miles over Frank for this season. He has high levels of autism, less high profile so the fish are more likely not going to know who he is and if he ramps up the jesus stuff that he sometimes gets onto, I could see that working in a similar vein to how it worked with Jon.
What do you guys think?

EDIT: Also no chance of Miles getting violent and beating the girls

My current tier list.

Tay is my Darkhorse. She's quietly remained a major part of nearly everything happening for the past week. She's dedicated and won the cell challenge. (which ironically may cost her the grand prize) And best of all she seems to have overcame the traumas that bring her down. Even using her eating disorder to her advantage. Also, she's grown on me a lot. Once the forced white nationalist meme faded her genuine side casts Tay in a good light. She seems like a good person.

Trisha and Shinji both shine at least once a day. Shinji is charismatic and clever. Whenever he is doing something it's must watch. At the same time Trisha stays more active then Shinji. And personally that gives her the slight edge. Plus, I don't see Sam giving the big prize to a porn star.

TJ has big moments. But they never tend to go anywhere. He'll have some big character defining moment. But then fad into the background. This is sad because I think he comes in second in terms of current fish I like the most as a person. But he's non-existent depending on the day.

Theme of this season seems to just be "let's focus on the one interesting fish we have until they break and move on to the next," name of the actual game is ostensibly one of self control but this season is even more of a survive by not being noticed type thing.
I once read an essay online written by a childhood abuse victim that claimed depression is a survival mechanism to help you stay alive in an abusive environment. The idea being that if you lash out, then your stronger enemy will hurt you more, so if you feel sad all the time and do nothing, you're more likely to survive long enough to get a chance to escape. In the article she talks about how suffering depression in her teenage years was painful, but it kept her abusive dad from beating her more than he did.

I don't know if that's always the case, but I've been thinking about it when following this season of fishtank. If the conflict is primarily fish vs. fish like in S1, the way to win is to eliminate your opponents, since the two of you are on an even playing field. If the conflict is fish vs. production, you can't beat them. If you snap like Jimmy, get rebellious like Cole, or unify the house into getting along against the outsiders like Brian, they will just throw you out. The winning strategy is to shut up and don't draw attention to yourself.

Did Jimmy have some established bond with the phone?
Yes and no, its a reoccurring thing in the show that the various contestants get attached to an item and it becomes part of their identity. In S1 Betty adopted the riot helmet for some reason:
1704823247.png

and if I recall, Vance had some sort of bat he always would drape his arm over while standing around. Josie had her plushies and I can't really remember how Letty or Sylvia coped. The nonstop barrage of hateful TTS and sound effects, lack of sleep and the stress of getting fucked with by other contestants and production seem to make the contestants latch onto some sort of security blanket item just to cope and when its screwed with they seriously do not like it. Not even prison is as chaotic and damaging to the psyche as being on this show and the one constant Tai(Simon in S1) stated that he dropped out because he was stressed to the point of wanting to physically attack others, and Tai is an extremely ponderous and slow talking individual. If you pulled half the shit that goes on during a fish tank season in prison you would get shanked to death by multiple parties, add in a host of mental issues and you can see why some spaz the fuck out.

The phone wasn't really the issue here, the production crew know that Jimmy was unstable and prone to attacking people when stressed, Sam and particularly Tay had him in a stable pattern for the better part of a week where Jimmy would acknowledge he was deteriorating mentally and would just go decompress in his room or away from people. Production started fucking with him from 11pm until something like 4am with near nonstop barrages of TTS calling him a dog fucker, after being placed at the bar by Tay specifically to be alone and decompress while she tidied up the furniture for the challenge. Then they forced a beef session with Danye (who instantly surrendered just so he could sleep,) Jimmy and Tay get literally every item of theirs stolen by Shinji over the course of the night and he blamed Brittney for this because he felt like she was laughing at their misfortune when they woke up and noticed the theft. In reality it was Tai that woke up in the middle of the night, greeted Shinji and then just rolled over and went back to sleep because he didn't give a fuck. Over the course of the next day a combination of Trish, Britney, production(or fans buying fishtoys) kept putting Jimmy into stressful situations and any time he would try to retreat to decompress they'd instantly pounce him with a new stressful situation. Jimmy would go to the room only to have "a fan" buy the vacate a room for an hour fish toy just to flush Jimmy back into the general population again. Ultimately I think this spergout was entirely engineered by Jet because he was laughing his ass off during the second beef (the one Brittney started) where Jimmy was incel ranting at Trish. Sam, Ben and Vance seemed very tense and uneasy about the whole thing.

He obviously didn't learn his lesson because he later came up smirking and tried selling access to the video to the various contestants fully oblivious the the extreme liability issues he is exposed to. Creating the conditions leading to a crime (assault and battery) could expose Ben and Jet to low level charges for endangerment as there is weeks of video footage showing Jimmy to be unstable with a predilection to attacking women, and literally that day half the staff was following Jimmy around to ensure nothing happened only, for them continuously put more fuel onto the fire. Obviously Jimmy is an adult and responsible for his actions but the staff are fully aware of his conditions and purposefully aggrivated them. Even if Ben and Jet manage to avoid criminal charges (highly unlikely any charges will be filed) they still run a severe risk in civil court if Brittney decided to make a stink about it and played hapless victim instead of triumphant conquerer.

tldr; contestants get stressed and get a security blanket item to cope, Jet kept fucking with every method Jimmy used to cope with stress and it ended up with a 90lbs girl getting thrown. I'm sad Jimmy went out this way but it really was getting tiresome treading around this particular landmine.

This is the third time this season that producion chased the most interesting fish out of the house. Well, I guess I can’t really blame them for Summer but still.
Driving Cole AND Jimmy out of the house are both massive failures. Especially Jimmy, because anyone who isn’t living on whippets in the basement could have seen this coming a mile away.
Isolation. Kills. Fish.

JC felt isolated because the house was against her after the chip fiasco and being the only non Fishtank fan. She left. Cole had no ally and also had the whole house against him, production clearly targeted him for their own amusement and content generation. He’s gone. Jimmy, from what I can tell anyway, was also targeted by production for his content generation abilities, pinning him against other fish all the time with very little outside help. Hell, even Sunmer was isolated from the rest of the house during her breakdown, although that wasn’t productions full fault.

Isolation, while not always the main cause, has played a significant role in getting fish either stressed out enough to leave, or stressed out enough to perform and action to get them kicked. Since Jimmy was the only natural content generator left, he was relied upon to the point of him breaking, like a content machine being put on full blast. It was only a matter of time, I wish they rode him out more instead of blowing their loads early again.

Jimmy was genuinely the last fish who generated content on his own without production assistance. The impending content drought is a scary thought. Please figure something out Jet.

Because Jimmy didn't want to actually hit her obviously or at the very least least knew that hitting her would've been very bad for him. Even in his rage he had some level of self control.
I disagree, its clear Jimmy was incredibly fucking retarded and uncoordinated physically, Look at his sparring after he claimed 12 years of MMA, his gump looking run when he had to do the sprint challenge. It's just luck that the tard tossed mallet didn't make contact with Britney.

Also people are treating Britney/Abby as if she's some evil person for antagonizing a fish as a freeloader, but that is literally why she is in the tank in the first place. Did everyone really want Jimmy to get special treatment all the way to the finale?

I wonder if "Jimmy's side of the story" is because he's a permavictim lying cunt who never takes responsibility, or if he's so delusional that he rewrites memories of what happened less than a minute before.

Either way, good thing he's gone.

I don't expect special treatment from freeloaders, I expect them to shit on all the fish equally as their job's meant to entail instead of this weird pattern of "small female targets big unstable retard exclusively for days on end" and the fact it happened two or three times makes it clear the wiggers have a weird fixation on the idea, probably because they wanted a new Jon really badly consequences be damned.

Duanye shits on trish, Taylor was brought in for emotional damage with TJ. That tall guy was brought in to fuck/cuck with Brian. Nifty antagonized Tay.

Every time, Jimmy is the one that aggressively starts the beef with the woman in the first place

Total Meg Vindication.

There is no way Jimmy 12 years MMA went into VATS and calculated how to intentionally miss that throw. He was tard-raging. It actually straight up looked to me like he was trying to hold her in place to hit her, but only got her sleeve and she slipped away so he raged harder.

Massive, massive fuck up all around. Jimmy could be funny a few times a day at best on his own then pushed to little spergouts by production, which I guess makes you Content King with this cast, but he wasn't good enough to keep after he flipped on Taylor. Production should have had a serious talk about going forward after he raged at Meg and Tay. They should have had better freeloaders lined up to account for losing cast members like him and Cole. I know it is a lot of work running this shit but the total lack of any preparation somehow continues to wow me.

They got way too greedy, knew they could milk him for ~content~, and I guess they got their moneyshot finally. Hope they have plans beyond Frank Hassle stealing Tay's clothes and calling TJ a pussy while everyone else soyfaces at him. I know the snags and bumps and lack of polish are part of the charm but fuck. Sam said all the women were duds or psychopaths, yes retard that is the culture being cultivated on your show.

You're not a good person if someone offers you a job to fuck with a mentally ill person. I hate to moralfag but you do have to be a bit fucked up to accept that role. Besides, she was laughing and boasting about it after it happened; a good person wouldn't do that.

I do believe he threw the hammer down/past her, but the shove was more then enough that he had to go, but I also but the least amount of blame on Abby. I think Jimmy is ultimately the most responsible, but production is a very close number 2. Trish is more at fault then Abby and I believe getting the guys kicked off for violence against women is her strategy. Duayne was too gay to take it too far, but Jimmy was the perfect target.

I hope she pushes TJ next and he's hiding some real Bundy violence behind his quiet stimming and breaks her fucking face, but Production will probably reign her in when they like the target.

I'm going to say that I think this was productions plan because they are retarded wiggers that never considered the actual consequences, but they wanted Jimmy out before Sam leaves for his standup tour, there's no way they could have wrangled him for a week without Sam, so they were escalating to make him snap and either quit or do what he did

I don't blame Abby for messing with Jimmy, she was doing what Jet told her to do and she believed that Jet and the crew knew what they were doing and would protect her from harm. She sadly learned the hard way that Jet is an idiot and that this isn't a top tier professionally run show. She's very lucky things didn't turn out worse.

Some of Abby's behavior does make me pause though. She seemed gleeful antagonizing Jimmy and then later was giggly and lying (or exaggerating) about what happened. I also didn't appreciate her trying to make Tay to feel bad for feeling upset about the situation. Tay wasn't defending Jimmy, she was trying to process someone she considered a friend going ape shit and being kicked. She was also saying how Jimmy shouldn't have done it but everyone shouldn't have been "poking the bear" as much as they had, yet Abby was trying to make her feel bad about it.

Idk, I guess to be fair, you could say that Abby was also traumatized and trying to process this the best way she knew how. Either way, Jet should have been finding a way to make everyone feel better after experiencing this but instead he was charging the fish chips to view the footage and waking Tay up at 4AM to tell her she's boring and needs to be more entertaining.

I was about to edit my post before you replied with a similar conclusion.

100% this was Jet getting revenge for his preferred Fish, Brian.

Jet was clearly upset when Brian got eliminated instead of Jimmy, and he risk the show and Sam's career getting even

I mean, if my experience with someone were an immediate forced date where they nonchalantly reveal they threw all your shit out of a window and would have cut your ID up if they had scissors, then later had them tard rage and try to bash me with a mallet over smashing a toy that wasn't even their property I'd probably revel in their being removed and question people who were upset to see such a psycho go...
